Toba Tek Singh: In Gogira branch near village 337 Gb, there was a sudden 50 feet sawdust crack at night.
Due to the crack, hundreds of hectares of land have been flooded due to which wheat and other crops have also been affected.
More than 20 trolleys, bulldozers and other heavy machinery under the supervision of the Ascent Commissioner Abid Shabirlaghari and the engineers of the canal department repaired the crack after six hours to repair the crack in the canal. Residents of the area say that due to the crack in the canal, the wheat crop has suffered the most severe damage.
On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Arshad Bhader has issued instructions to the officers of the Department of Agriculture to investigate the crack in the canal and estimate the loss of the farmers.
