Let's talk about the mechanics of why engagement pods work so well for LinkedIn. So how LinkedIn decides how much reach it's going to give your post is based on the engagement that it gets in those first 10 to 15 minutes within your first-degree network. So it shows a very small subset of all the people you know. It shows a very small subset of people, your posts. Now when people engage with your posts in that short period of time, then LinkedIn shows it to even more people in your network, plus whoever engaged that post their network. So now your second degree-connections, so people you're not directly connected with, but that your first degree connections are connected with. So this is the second-degree and then over time eventually those second degree connections that will engage with your posts if it's a good post, and then you'll have third-degree connections that are viewing and engaging with your posts. So this is generally speaking how the algorithm decides how much reach it's going to give your post for free. And this is why engagement pods are just so powerful. Because they automate that early engagement. Guaranteeing that your post is going to get a heck of a lot more reach. So this is the mechanics of the LinkedIn algorithm and why the LinkedIn pods are just so effective for getting your message out further than if you were just doing it by yourself.
