Marios Panayi (June 23rd, 1994) is a Greek-Cypriot jazz and contemporary singer-songwriter.
He started his music education from a young age taking vocal, piano, classical guitar and music theory lessons. During high-school years he earned a distinction on the ABRSM classical singing exams and Trinity Guildhall exams on piano, classical guitar and music theory. He was also awarded with the 2nd National price on “Costas Montis” high school songwriting competition.
Marios Panayi is studying Royal Holloway University of London finishing his Bachelor of Music (Hons) on summer of 2017. He is taking vocal lessons with Irene Sera and frequently performs inside and outside the campus of Royal Holloway singing well known jazz covers and originals. He was also the musical director of the Savoy Society’s “Anything Goes” by Cole Porter. He had the duties of the vocal coach of more than twenty-five singers and the conductor of an eleven-people jazz ensemble.
At the moment, Marios Panayi is in the process of writing, composing and filming video clips releasing digitally new originals in the near future. He is also planning on doing a Masters in Performance.
