Violetta Zironi. 21 year old country/folk, blues singer and songwriter, she started playing piano at the age of 6, moved to the guitar at the age of 12, and discovered the ukulele at the age of 16. Influenced by her dad, blues harmonica player, country and folk music became her passion. Under the guide of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Muddy Waters and Bill Monroe, she started writing her own songs, and playing solo and trio live shows. She had the honour to share the stage with great characters of the music she loves, as Slim Jim Phantom, Stray Cats’ drummer, and the great Ben E. King.
Violetta has just returned from a road trip of the southern states of America, writing with songwriters, doing a couple of small shows.
She has just been in the recording studio here in London and is due to release her first EP in December before heading on tour in early 2017.
