Hailing from the village of Conna in County Cork, Nicole Maguire has long been a fixture of the Irish music scene. She has supported Paul Brady, Damien Dempsey and Nanci Griffith, among others. Writing her first songs at age twelve, she started playing her first gigs around Cork at fourteen.
Nicole recently finished recording her latest album, working with renowned producer Mitchell Froom (Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney). The culmination of three years of writing in both Nashville and Ireland, What You Really Mean features an all-star cast of musicians, including Vonda Shepherd, Pete Thomas, Bob Glaub, and Val McCallum.
