Amano is an 18 year old singer-songwriter hailing from Killarney, Co. Kerry. Stemming her craft from a uniquely distinctive offset, her sound has aptly been described as ethereal acoustic flooding with vocal acrobatics. Having used YouTube as a platform for her talent since 2011, Amano rapidly gathered momentum to kick-start her live journey in July 2013, and has not looked back since playing over 20 live shows in her first 11 months from Cork’s Cypress Avenue to Dublin’s Academy 2. Her diverse collation of influences ranges from the acoustic folk vibes of Villagers and Damien Rice, poetic song writing of Keaton Henson and Leonard Cohen to the more Pop orientated vocal styles of Adele and Daughter, giving Amano's writing a dominating aura of personality, intricacy and depth. As she nears the end of a year of tireless work following the Leaving Cert. to fund her academic ventures and her musical passion, Amano has firmly grounded herself in a young, vibrant scene of Irish musicians where she intends to stay.
