Kelsie Rimmer is a 20 year old singer/songwriter from the Sunshine Coast, who has been performing, writing and developing her unique, ambient sound ever since she picked up her first guitar when she was 14 years old.
Although performing mainly throughout South East Queensland, Kelsie has also been involved in a number of national singing and song writing competitions, including the National Youth Week Song writing Competition, the Queensland Music Awards, the Telstra Road to Tamworth Competition and most recently the popular national television singing show The Voice.
In all of these competitions and many more, she has received great acclaim for her warm, mesmerising stage presence, insightful and poetic song writing ability and most of all her beautiful, unique voice which has often been described as 'Angelic'.
Kelsie has recently released her first self produced EP 'Lost In The Woods' along with her first single 'The Lost Boys', which is currently being played on radio stations across Queensland and is for sale on iTunes. Through writing, recording, performing and producing all of her original songs herself as well as designing and creating all of her own handmade cover art, Kelsie has manufactured each of her EPs into little musical works of art, created with passion, love and care.
A true artist at heart, Kelsie Rimmer's music can only be described as beautiful, delicately crafted musical poetry which is always written to tell a story close to her heart.
