Terzo classificato al IV Premio Internazionale "Alda Merini". In uscita il suo secondo CD “Parole per Chitarra” per l'etichetta “La Compagnia di Donida”
Flavio Secchi begins studying the Guitar in 1986, taking his first lessons from his father. Since 1994 he begins studying classical guitar and jazz with Peo Alfonsi and Gianluca Corona. In 2009 he awards the academic degree in jazz guitar at the Conservatory of Music G. P. da Palestrina in Cagliari under the guidance of Massimo Ferra. In 2010 he attends the St. Louis College of Music in Rome and in 2012 begins studying flamenco guitar in Sevilla at the Cristobal de Morales Conservatory with Manuel Herrera and in the “Artes Escenicas Rebollar” Academy. He does seminars and master classes with internationally renowned musicians like Pat Metheny, Kurt Rosenwinkel ecc... Since 2010, parallel to the USA Activities instrumentalist, he takes the road of songwriting, following his passions: poetry and music. He collaborates with The Balentes, the Mogase Trio, The Haiku Sensei, The Aletheia, Sikitikis and with singer Francesca Corrias. In 2013 comes to life his first songwriting work, the album Flavio Secchi and the Hall kitchen, independent work and self-produced. He Participate at the Ichnusa Music Contest qualifying among the top 20 artists of Over 600 subscribers and Entering In compiling contest attachment to the newspaper L'Unione Sarda. In November 2014 he wins the "La Compagnia" award, and "Ricordando il Maestro” award to the important Prize “Premio Donida-The talent of Composers". In June 2015 A collection of his poems is published in a book entitled "Aurisse" for Aletti Editore. In September 2015 he wins the third place at the IV International Prize for Literature "Alda Merini". In the same year he begins collaborating with Artistic Producer Massimo Satta with which records his second album as a songwriter "Parole per chitarra" with the label "La compagnia di Donita". The February 26, 2016 Take part in the hearings of the musical review "Musicultura: Festival of Popular Song and author - XXVII edition"
