Ingredients:-
1 cup Semolina
½ cup Ghee
⅛ cup Whole cashews
⅛ cup Raisins
1 cup Milk
1 cup Water
¾ cup Sugar
5 Green cardamoms, ground
¼ cup Yellow banana, roughly diced
1 large pinch saffron soaked in milk or water
8-10 leaves of Holy Basil
Banana leaf
Marigold
Rose petals
Method:-
- In a pan roast semolina on low flame until golden brown in colour.
- In another pan melt ghee and fry cashews, raisins and banana in it.
- Add the holy basil and stir.
- Now add the roasted semolina and stir on a low flame.
- Then add milk, water and sugar, mix well and cover wtih a lid.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes add the soaked saffron and stir.
- Continue cooking for the rest of the time on medium flame.
- Once cooked, add the ground cardamom and mix well.
- Garnish with rose petals and holy basil.
Prasadacha Sheera is ready!
