Gurr Chiikii
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 Cup Peanuts (groundnuts)
* 3/4 CUP Jaggery, grated or finely chopped
* 1 Tbsp for greasing Ghee
* Clarified Butter
Steps of Making:
1- Roast peanut in a pan ( Preferably heavy based pan ) on medium flame for approx. 5-6 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
2- Let roasted peanut cool for 3-4 minutes. Remove its skin while they are little warm and break them into halves.
3- Grease surface of counter top or reverse side of big plate and a rolling pin (belan) with ghee.
4- Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan over low flame. Add jaggery and stir continuously on low to medium flame.
5- When jaggery dissolves, Stir and cook forapprox. 4-5 minutes on low flame.
6- Turn off flame and peanut and peanut halves. Mix untill all peanuts halves are coated with dissolved jaggery.
7- Pour mixture overpreviously greased surface.
8- Quickly roll the mixture flat using rolling pin. Keeps its thickness around 1/3- inch.
9- Make approx. 2 inch apart parrallel horizontal and vertical cuts with knife while spread is still hot.
10- When Cooled, break it into pieces and store in airtight container and enjoy it whenever you like.

گھی گرم کرلیں۔ اب کچلا ہوا گڑ پین میں ڈال کر پکنے دیں۔ ایک پلیٹ مین تھوڑا گڑ ٹپکائیں۔ جب جم جائے تو مونگ پھلی شامل کرکے 2 سے3 منٹ تک پکائیں۔ چکی مکسچر کو گریس پلیٹ میں پھیلائیں اور ٹکروں میں کاٹ لیں۔ پی نٹ چکی تیار ہے۔
