A miniature horse named Cider is doing much better after being rescued from a state of neglect in Ohio.

A miniature horse named Cider is doing much better after being rescued from a state of neglect. 
The local NBC station, WCMH, notes, "Cider’s hooves went untrimmed for approximately two years according to Veterinarian Chris Beinlich. He said the curved hooves were cutting into the skin on Cider’s shins." 
Cider was rescued by the Ohio SPCA, which released a video showing their response team making contact with the creature in the dark of night.
Hooves now trimmed,
