104-Year-Old Hockey Fan Gets Visit From Flyers Legend On Her Birthday

A woman named Helen Moser recently got a visit on her 104th birthday. Moser is a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and as a way to honor her as the team’s oldest fan, Flyers legend Bob "The Hound" Kelly arrived at her party.

A woman named Helen Moser recently got a visit on her 104th birthday. Moser is a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Flyers.

As a way to honor her as the team’s oldest fan, Flyers legend Bob "The Hound" Kelly arrived at her party. Kelly played in 12 NHL seasons between the years of 1970 and 1982 and he is one of Moser’s favorite players.

Mosley who resides in the retirement community, Wesley Enhanced Living in Upper Moreland was delighted to see Kelly. He walked into the room holding a cake and approached the birthday girl. She was wearing a Flyers jersey with her name on the back and the number 100.

She smiled and shook Kelly’s hand. After that, Kelly showed her the gift the Flyers chose for her.

It’s a brand new jersey with Moser’s name on the back, only this one has the number 104, symbolizing her recently birthday. Moser has been a fan of the team since the franchise was founded in 1967 and even now, she doesn’t miss out on watching the games.

Although she loves the sport, Moser admits she isn’t a fan of the fights that often break out.
