Finding a winning lottery ticket is the dream of pretty much every average person. Well a man named Manuel Gonzalez actually lived that dream.

He found the winning lottery ticket, which was worth about $6.3 million, in La Coruna, Spain. Instead of keeping it, he turned the ridiculously valuable paper in, so the true owner could be located.

Gonzalez rationalized his decision stating “Because here was somebody who had a problem forgetting his ticket and I put myself in his shoes, and it's the sort of thing I could have done. I thought the best thing to do was just to return the ticket.”

Gonzalez also claimed to have wanted a clear conscience and that he would not have been able to sleep had he cashed in on the winning ticket. Lottery authorities have not released much information about the exact date or the location where the ticket was sold so they will be able to test the claims of anyone who comes forward.

Gonzalez can keep all the money if no one is proven to be the original owner.
