A woman received a court fine for calling a man 'stupid'.
Recently, a woman in Dubai was forced to shell out over $250 to a man who she reportedly called ”stupid”.
The whole bizarre ordeal started when the 40-year-old Filipina lady went with her friend to a local police station. Here’s where it gets a little confusing. The friend’s ex-husband had contacted police to turn her in for being late for a scheduled visitation meeting with his child.
The Filipina woman explains the matter stating “She was awarded custody and he was given visitation rights every Friday. He called police because she was just late.” Obviously very protective of her pal, the 40-year-old woman called him stupid right at the police station.
Well the seemingly small dig made its way to court, where the woman received the fine under the charge of issuing insults.
Recently a bride dealt with the aftermath of lying. The Egyptian woman landed in court after her former husband discovered that she wasn't a virgin.
Apparently, the lady had not informed the unsuspecting groom that she had taken part in sexual endeavors prior to the nuptials. The female was ordered to pay her ex-husband over $7,000 in damages for that lie.
