Saudis are reportedly the biggest vacation spenders.

The world’s biggest spenders while on vacation abroad are from Saudi Arabia, says Visa’s Global Travel Intentions Study 2013.

At an approximate outlay of 6500 dollars per trip, Saudi’s spend close to 4000 dollars more than the global average.

Visa anticipates spending will to go up 5 percent in the coming year.

The greatest increases are expected to be in Asia, with residents in some areas bumping up their budgets by a whopping 46 percent.

Overall, the top destination for international travelers is the United States. Other popular spots are the United Kingdom, France, China, and Singapore.

Many big-spending Saudi travelers are, however, flocking to the Czech Republic.

With traditional summer destinations like Egypt and Syria experiencing great political unrest, Saudi tourists have had to find alternative spots.

The Eastern European country has become a top destination because of its numerous health-centered vacation options, which allow families to travel with ill loved ones.

Families can take in the sights, museums, zoos, and culture while an ill member has the opportunity to convalesce.
