One cat in particular has been building up a large following.
Dubbed ‘Spangles, the cross eyed kitty’, his owner Mary Buchanan posts pictures of him dressed in costumes. Despite the undeniable cuteness, the most notable aspect is the cat’s striking blue eyes.
Buchanan states “Spangles loves to take photos! He will pose for me, and let me know when he's in a glamorous mood. He likes to roam around the house in his little hats and costumes. He has one cross eye, and he was born that way but he can see perfectly fine.”
The three-year-old cat is photographed sporting different get-ups including a crab, jester, unicorn and monkey. Spangles' page has received over 32,000 likes thus far and the internet sensation has also appeared on ‘The Today Show’.
Last year, another cat, named Colonel Meow gained popularity through Facebook with many people calling him the world's angriest cat. Colonel Meow is described as an easygoing kitty, but his face is one of a kind.
Surrounded by a fluffy mess of fur, he has two piercing eyes and what appears to be a permanent frown.
