For many years, Sherah has been singing covers publicly, while privately writing and developing her own music. In November of 2010, the timing was perfect for her to step out onto the stage with her own songs in hand and sing them for an audience of friends and strangers. In January of 2011, she released an EP produced by California Conga called "Lay Low" and soon gathered a professional band together to begin her foray into the Austin music scene. She has been received with open arms. She now has a monthly residency at Opa! on South Lamar with other shows in venues around town. She will soon be performing for a world wide audience on BalconyTV, and one of her original songs has been chosen for final consideration for the winner's song on American Idol.
