Animal Specimens - Home Decoration Inspiration - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. I am going to show you a few of my animal specimens. They are all collected ethically. I am going to start with this shadow box that has turkey wing bones in it and a real wild turkey feather inside of it. The shadow box has a glass plate front and saw tooth hangers in the back. It could actually be displayed on a table or it could be hung on a wall, which I really prefer. And you can enjoy it even after Thanksgiving. This next piece is a glass menagerie. It has all panels of glass on each side. The bottom is mirrored, the latch opens and inside are three specimens. One is a wild turkey feather, the other is a mink skull and in the back is a smoky quartz raw crystal point. It can also be hung from this hook or it can just be displayed on a table just about anywhere. This last piece is made from resin, it is not real. It is a wild boar head skull. It has four tusks that have been air brushed with 24 karat gold. It can actually talk. It does come apart into four pieces and then you can put it back together and it could be displayed just about anywhere.
