What Does it Mean to Stack Coupons? - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Did you know you can stack coupons? Now, that does not mean that I can use two manufacturer coupons for one item. What it does mean is that I can use a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon and use them both on the same item. So, for example, this one has Kellogg's cereal. You can buy three boxes for $5.00. The first three are going to be $1.67 each. We happen to know that the regular price is $1.99. Well, why do I need to know that? Because, here is a coupon for $5.00 off five boxes of Kellogg's cereal. So, I am going to use the store coupon and I am going to use this manufacturer's coupon and I am going to save on cereal. So, what I would do is buy 5 boxes. The first three will be $1.67. Numbers four and five will $1.99 and I am going to use that store coupon. And then, I am going to use this manufacturer's coupon., which will save me five additional dollars on those five boxes. So, that is just one great way to stack your coupons. It is called using coupons effectively and saving more money at the grocery store with coupons.
