Tuck on the Trapeze - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. Hello, I am Rachel Stegman with Circus school of Arizona. Today I am going to show you some circus exercises. This is Randy, and Randy will be demonstrating a tuck on the trapeze. This exercise can also be done on a simple pullet bar at home. You want to reach for the bar and you want to have your arms about shoulder width apart, thumbs around the bar. Make sure your shoulders are down and not hunched up, suck your belly in and straighten your back. Hang and then bring your knees into your chest, and hold that for as long as you can . You can eventually, you try to beat your count in your mind about ten seconds and if you can beat it by a couple seconds each time, then that is great. He is going to do it again. Legs down, and bring your knees into your chest, good. And now let's bring your legs back down, and come down. So this is a tuck that we use all the time in the circus and it strengthens your shoulders, your abs, your forearms, your breath and basically your whole body.
