New York Fashion Week kicks off with red hot stars

A stream of gorgeous stars have hit the catwalk in a preview to New York Fashion Week at the Red Dress Heart Truth Show.

The show was held to raise awareness of women's risk of heart disease and all of the celebs showed off glamorous, red, designer dresses.

Hollywood actress Denise Richards was one of them, she said: "I was excited, I mean to walk in Fashion Week, I think is an honour, especially this event, we all get to wear a fabulous dress. They've got a great group of women, so I was definitely excited to be a part of it."

Cat Deeley was there representing us Brits, along with Natasha Bedingfield who sang at the show.

Some of the stunning red dresses will be auctioned at the online charity Clothes Off Our Back, with proceeds going to fund research and raise awareness of women's heart disease.
