Tough few days for Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy

Peter Crouch's people will not comment over newspaper allegations claiming the footballer has had an affair.

The six-foot-seven-inch Spurs player is engaged to model and TV presenter Abbey Clancy.

Pete's agent said 'no comment' when asked about the allegations whilst his football club, Tottenham Hotspur, said it has nothing to do with the team and therefore it has nothing to say.

24-year-old Abbey, who first found fame as a contestant on Britain's Next Top Model, has been dating Peter since 2006 and, after briefly splitting, got engaged last summer.

As well as speculation surrounding his personal life, Crouch, 29, is also dealing with problems in his professional life.

He was recently dropped from the England squad and reports claim that Spurs may be moving towards selling him.
