00:00A woman who pretended to be a dentist was found dead in Cotabato City.

00:05The suspect's motive was to steal dental services online.

00:20the clinic of this woman, who pretended to be a dentist in Cotabato City, is located just beside the river.

00:27In this video, you can see that the woman pretended to be a dentist.

00:33But she didn't know that the patient who was cleaning her teeth was a police officer.

00:41The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group entered the room and interrogated her.

00:47The suspect's motive was revealed after he acted in cyber-patrolling

00:51in which the suspect pretended to steal dental services online.

00:55His customers can talk to him on the online platform.

01:03He also gave discounts and services in relation to placing braces.

01:14They have an agreement for a meet-up.

01:18In an interview, the PNP-ACG spokesperson,

01:22Police Lieutenant Walen May Arancilio, said that many suspects are going crazy

01:27because it's too cheap to ask for a payment for his services.

01:32Even so, placing dental braces costs only P1,000.

01:38This is really impossible compared to the total or right amount of dental braces.

01:45If we ask for a cheap dental service, it can affect our health, especially our teeth.

01:53If it's damaged, it will cost more to pay for the medication.

02:00The suspect's illegal activities are being exaggerated by flexing his clients online.

02:07But his customers don't know that he doesn't have a license

02:11and he didn't study dentistry.

02:14His medical background is that he used to be an assistant of a licensed dentist.

02:20What we saw during the operation was the hygiene of the fake dentist.

02:27He sterilized the equipment in hot water.

02:31It's not what a real dentist should do.

02:35We saw that they only do it outside their house,

02:39on the side of the river, and we can see that the surroundings are not clean.

02:45The complaint of violation of the Philippine Dental Act,

02:48which is related to the Cybercrime Prevention Act, is in the hands of the suspect.
