00:00Let's talk about a colorful indie film that is full of emotions and studies.
00:04This is Aeroplanong Papel.
00:06And now, we will have with us one of the cast, Ethan Garay and also the director, Andre Bagos.
00:12Good morning and welcome to Rise and Shine Philippines.
00:15Good morning, Director Andre and Ethan.
00:19Alright, well congratulations of course on your movie.
00:22But tell us more about this movie.
00:23What is the inspiration behind Aeroplanong Papel, Director Andre?
00:28The biggest inspiration for this movie is to bring knowledge to our children who are lost in the streets.
00:38We don't have any other purpose.
00:40And especially, the ending of the movie is to teach them the lessons that are not easily seen on television or in movies.
00:53So, Director, can you relate to the children, especially the Gen Z, the Millennials, when they go home or when they watch the movie?
01:02I believe that the children can relate to it, that they have hope in life.
01:10Interesting. Alright, Ethan, how do you prepare yourself for your role in this movie?
01:16And tell us about your role in this movie, Aeroplanong Papel.
01:20Alright, first of all, I pray first. That's how I ready myself up.
01:28And I always think that I can do this. And I always think about positivity.
01:36And that's how I always get myself ready.
01:40And also, for the second one, my role is a student.
01:44If you look at the trailer closely, you can see kids wearing glasses and also holding a flag.
01:52Well, actually, that is me. I am an extra and I am with the other kids, the other students running.
02:02So, that's my role and that's how I ready myself.
02:06Very interesting.
02:08I'm excited that you're watching the movie, Aeroplanong Papel.
02:12You're telling Rod that you're talking to Giromano, right?
02:16Yes.
02:18So, how is it working with Giromano and also with the other cast?
02:24When it comes to Giromano's acting skills, I can understand that he's still adjusting.
02:32But in the set, we didn't see any problem with him.
02:36He's in a good condition. He didn't become a problem or a headache in the set.
02:42And he did what he can do as we know him as Giromano.
02:48Exciting, right? For those who are still fans of Giromano over the years.
02:52Direct, what do you see as the importance of this particular movie?
02:56Because you said there's a lesson to be learned.
02:58What's the lesson to be learned after watching the movie?
03:06If you're going to watch a good movie,
03:12you should listen to your parents when you get home.
03:18That's right. You should listen to your family when you watch the movie.
03:24Ethan, how was your experience doing the film?
03:28And if you have a lesson in being a part of this movie, what is it?
03:34My experience there is very grateful. I was so happy that time.
03:40I am grateful and blessed at the same time.
03:44I am thankful of Sir Ryan Manuel Favis and to direct Andre.
03:50And also, what I learned there is that we should always be kind to others.
04:00Respect them always. And if there's something you want to do, do it already.
04:08Do not delay it because we all have limited time and we do not last forever.
04:16Children should listen and watch this movie.
04:20Direct, when can we watch this movie and invite the public to watch this film?
04:26It will be released on April 7. That's the start.
04:30It will be released on Gateway Cineplex if I'm not mistaken.
04:34Then, after April 7, the movie will be shown in different theaters.
04:42And especially in schools. We have talked to many schools like Laguna University and many others.
04:50Then, the movies will be shown there.
04:54Not only airplane and paper, there will be new movies that we will make.
05:00Well, we are excited to watch this film and congratulations again.
05:06Ethan, do you want to invite your friends to watch you in this film?
05:12So, first of all, I would like to invite all of my classmates to watch this short film.
05:20Because since they are kids, they will learn a lot.
05:27This film is not only about airplanes and paper that fly.
05:33It is also a symbol.
05:37They will learn a lot from this film.
05:40I also want my kids and neighbors to watch this film.
05:48Because this is the very important thing that you will watch.
05:55Also, I would like to invite my friends and my best friend also.
06:01Wow, that's it.
06:02You are my personal guest. You should meet each other.
06:05Watch it.
06:07RSK, don't miss this movie.
06:09Thank you for sharing your story of the indie film Airplane and Paper.
06:14Ethan Garay and Director Andre Bagos.
06:17And again, congratulations.
06:18Thank you so much.
