00:00A woman was killed in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City while she was five years old.

00:04The wound was caused after she jumped from a jeepney that was hauled up.

00:08Civil Custodian in the center of the news.

00:12What happened? Did she fall from the jeepney?

00:14She fell and jumped.

00:18The woman on Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City

00:23was injured and unconscious.

00:26Some passengers were injured after they jumped from a passenger jeepney

00:30to save themselves in the accident.

00:33The 29-year-old woman was dead on arrival

00:36while five others were injured and were taken to various hospitals in Quezon City.

00:41According to the jeepney's driver,

00:43he was traveling to Cubao from Fairview

00:45when he was spotted by a suspect in the area of Don Fabian,

00:48around 10 p.m. last night.

00:49But when he arrived in the area of Barangay Holy Spirit,

00:52this is where the suspect declared a hold-up.

00:55My passengers were screaming.

00:59Maybe they were nervous.

01:02I thought they were just joking.

01:05Because we know each other.

01:07When I looked at my rear-view mirror,

01:10I saw that the knife was on her arm.

01:14It was like that.

01:16She wasn't holding it like that.

01:18It was just like that.

01:19She was just showing it to the passengers.

01:21She admitted that it was all her fault.

01:23Even though the driver was with her,

01:25she was thrown into the jeep

01:26while the bag containing almost Php 1,000 was shaking.

01:33I thought we were going to crash.

01:34I was so scared.

01:35I don't know what to say.

01:36I was really jumping.

01:37The woman was taken to the hospital for the crime,

01:40but she was also arrested immediately.

01:42The suspect was injured badly

01:44after being hit by a man.

01:47When we arrived in the area,

01:49the riders were already there

01:51to chase the suspect.

01:53When we arrived there,

01:55we just stopped them

01:57because they were injured.

02:00We stopped the civilians

02:03and put the suspect in a mobile

02:05so that he wouldn't get hurt.

02:07The knife he used for the crime

02:09and the bag of a victim were recovered.

02:12The suspect admitted to committing the crime.

02:15When Kawatan confessed,

02:16he was already in prison in 2003

02:18for the theft case.

02:20This was the second time he was in prison.

02:23It's my family's fault.

02:26I lost my job.

02:28I deserve to be punished for what I did.

02:31The suspect is currently turned over

02:33to Holy Spirit Police Station

02:35and was transferred to the Criminal Investigation

02:37and Detection Unit in Camp Karingal.

02:39The suspect will face a robbery complaint

02:41with homicide and physical injury.
