00:00Coming back after a seven-year break, winning a premiership, how does that feel?
00:08Yeah, it feels good. It was good just to bond with my team again.
00:16I've played all year with the same rink, so the same players effectively,
00:21and we worked well together as a team all year, so we were pretty competitive
00:28most of the year to get to the grand finals, so it's good.
00:31What made you come back after a break like that?
00:34I missed the competitive stuff. I like playing competitive bowls.
00:40I missed playing with the people in the club, so I just wanted to get back
00:46and play a bit more competitive bowls and get back into it.
00:50What was it like today? You won a premiership, playing alongside your father.
00:55Yeah, and Moira. It was good. They played well.
01:01They ended up not too far behind themselves, so they did their job.
01:07It's good to have your family on the same team. It needs a bit more, so it's good.
01:12What do you love about this sport? What makes it such a good sport?
01:16I just like the competitiveness of it. It's like a bit of a chess game, really.
01:24There's a lot of different ways to win and a lot of different shots to play,
01:28so I just like to improve and try to improve all the time.
01:35You do that by playing against good players, so that's why it's good to play an individual team.
