00:12A mum of a man who was dragged under a van in Hitton Run in Poulton has issued a

00:16heartbreaking message claiming he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

00:21At 12.50am on Sunday morning, a Ford Transit van collided with two pedestrians

00:26on Breck Road in Poulton Love Isle. A man in his 20s suffered serious injuries and

00:31remains in hospital for treatment while a man in his 40s suffered minor injuries.

00:37Natalie Smith, the mum of the man in his 20s, named locally as Connor Smith, has thanked all

00:43those who helped her son including the police and the ambulance service and said that he was

00:47not the intended target. I was horrified to find a huge mass grave of human ashes

00:55disrespectfully abandoned at Carlton Crematorium. A grieving woman said she was horrified to

01:00discover piles of discarded human ashes seemingly dumped on land at a Blackpool Crematorium.

01:07Jackie Hewson, who was visiting the Carlton Crematorium on Sunday with her mother when she

01:12was left distressed after witnessing the disturbing piles of ashes abandoned on the

01:17grass verges. Miss Hewson, who lives in South Shore, said the ashes appeared to have been

01:22scattered without thought or respect for the person who had passed away. The support worker

01:28said seeing the ashes in the cemetery like that upset us deeply. It was a bit like seeing a mass

01:33grave. A new drive-thru Burger King restaurant is set to open at Tesco in Leyland. Plans have

01:41been launched to open a drive-thru fast food restaurant in the car park of one of Lancashire's

01:45busiest supermarkets. Urban Edge Architecture Ltd, on behalf of Burger King UK Group Ltd,

01:52have submitted an application to build a pod at Tesco Extra in Leyland. Plans submitted to South

01:58Ribble Borough Council show the proposal is for a standalone drive-thru pod with a gross internal

02:03floor area of approximately 232 square metres in an area closest to the boundary with Leyland's

02:10Pleasure Centre. It comes just weeks after the fast food giant opened a new restaurant and

02:14drive-thru next to the Odeon at Preston Dogs. New Lidl supermarket opening tomorrow in Penrhythm.

02:23Discount retail giant Lidl will be opening its new Penrhythm store tomorrow, February 20th.

02:30The 1,134 square metre supermarket has been built on land of the Calsey opposite the Morris

02:39Homes on Merries Park development. 40 new jobs have been created at the store which will feature

02:43the discounts, renowned bakery, popular middle of the Lidl and customer facilities including

02:48toilets with the baby changing stations. Outside there will be ample parking for both cars and

02:53bicycles including electric charging points while solar panels on the roof will help power the store.
