00:00Hello, my name is Lit Patrick and I'm a reporter for the Lancashire Post and the Blackpool Gazette.
00:05Here is a daily bulletin.
00:09Management of a much-loved community pub in Blackpool have announced that they are to pull their last pint after nearly 12 years.
00:17From next month, the bridge pub, located at 124 Lytton Road, will be under new management.
00:23Announcing the news on their social media, current management said that it was with a heavy heart that they had decided to call time after exhausting every avenue, but owing to rising costs and police restrictions on away football fans, this had been the nail in the coffin.
00:38The Post wrote it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to hand notice on the bridge pub.
00:44We have been with you coming up to 12 years since July and loved every minute of it.
00:49With increasing costs, rises and other factors beyond our control, we can no longer make it work.
00:55The powder room in Bisbon announces Ryan Welling's girlfriend, Emma Croft, no longer works for them.
01:01Emma Croft, who had worked at the powder room beauty salon in Bisbon, had been supporting her boyfriend, Ryan Welling's 30, throughout his alleged manslaughter char at Preston Crane Court.
01:14After seven weeks, a landscape gardener from Bisbon was found not guilty earlier this week of manslaughter of Keena Dawes, 23, who prosecutors claimed killed herself in 2022 after a campaign of domestic violence.
01:27However, he was found guilty of assault and coercive and controlling behaviour between January 2020 and July 2022.
01:36He has been returned to prison and will be sentenced on Thursday.
01:41This is how people without a drive will be able to charge their electric cars in Lancashire.
01:46A scheme is being tested in Lancashire to help people without driveways charge their electric cars.
01:52Charge Gully, a pioneering Welsh company, have been selected by Lancashire County Council to pilot their innovative cable channel solution for households with no access to off-street parking.
02:03The trial, part of the Council's Forward Thinking Cable Trades initiative, will help residents make the switch from electric vehicles by offering a safe, convenient and cost-effective method for on-street charging.
02:15The electric vehicle charging cable runs from the home electricity supply directly into a vehicle via a channel which is cut into the pavement surface.
02:23A tamper-proof metal or plastic case is slotted into the channel to convey the charging cable safely and reduce trip hazards while the vehicle is being charged.
