00:07Blackpool attempted murder arrest after late night assault in Dixon Road.
00:12Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was brutally attacked in Blackpool on the weekend.
00:20The victim, aged in his 40s, was found with serious injuries on Dixon Road, near the junction with Derby Road at around 1.30am on Saturday.
00:30Ambulance crews attended and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
00:35Police closed the road through the night while CSI examined the scene and officers made enquiries.
00:42Lancashire Police said two men and a woman were later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
00:48A 45-year-old man from Poulton-le-Field, a 23-year-old man from Blackpool and a woman, 47, from Poulton-le-Field, remained in custody on Tuesday morning.

03:14It follows concerns over the way work was being carried out in the site in recent weeks, prompting numerous complaints from those living in the area.
03:23Complaints included noise from the site during unsocial hours and builders' waste being thrown from the upper windows into a skip outside instead of using a rubbish chute.
