00:00Hello my name is Luke Patrick I'm a reporter for the Blackpool Gazette. I've
00:04just got back from the Spud House on Dixon Road here in Blackpool. I covered
00:07the opening of the Spud House but I've not managed to try any of the food but I
00:11have today and I can't wait for it. I ordered the Pizza Spud combining two of my
00:16favourite things which is pizza and potatoes so that was perfect for me.
00:20The pepperoni I had came when it was quite thick and had a nice bite to it
00:24and kind of like a almost like a smoky kind of chorizo flavour. The potato
00:30itself was nice and soft but kind of buttery and just melted in your mouth
00:34when you tried it and it was really really good. You also got a lot for your
00:38money. The portions were quite big, the presentation looked good. The cheese
00:43added a nice salty flavour to it and there was lots of it which is fantastic
00:47as someone who loves cheese as much as I do. The tomato sauce kind of came
00:54with a pizza sauce over the top and that was that was really nice and added
00:57a lot to the overall dish. To go with it I ordered kind of crispy bacon and
01:02crispy onions on top which gave like a nice flavour as well and a kind of
01:05crunchy bite on top of the on top of the potato which is good. So yeah I think if
01:12you're looking for something maybe a bit different for lunch you can treat
01:15yourself at the end of the week and you want to try any of these potatoes from
01:19the Spud House on Dixon Road I would definitely recommend it.
