Plans for a new £8.72M ride, which will be the biggest of its kind in the UK, has been unveiled at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort.
A Gyro Swing is being added to the park’s line up of rides in 2026, and work has already begun on its delivery.

00:48there's even more chance to do just that. Every single Saturday in August is either a Twilight
00:53Thrills or a Late Night Riding with Fireworks event. Plus, there's more late nights throughout
00:58the year. There's loads more events to look forward to. Our world-famous Hot Air Show returns
01:03with excess. You can bibbity-bobbity book our pantomime, Cinderella, and face your fears at
01:09our terrifying journey to hell, if you dare. Over at Nickland, our favourite Nickelodeon Land
01:16characters are back with themed months, on-park games, entertainment, and plenty of slime. You
01:27loved Walk the Woody so much that we've brought it back for 2025 alongside the ever-popular Walk
01:33the Big One. We've also got brand new Pleasure Beach fan club events and behind-the-scenes tours.
01:39Speaking of behind-the-scenes, we're launching our all-new podcast which will include exclusive
01:45interviews, never-before-heard updates, and, if you're lucky, some secrets. And while you're

02:07If you're planning an overnight stay, then the Boulevard, one of the best luxury hotels in

02:26as Valhalla won Best Water Ride in Europe at the European Star Awards. To be honest, I've run out
02:31of space in Valhalla's trophy cabinet. One of the ways we keep our rides award-winning is with a
02:37huge amount of work that takes place over the winter period. Once again, we've invested millions
02:41into keeping our rides at the top of their game, with some special work taking place in Infusion.
02:46We've got a very talented team working behind the scenes here at Pleasure Beach Resort, and this
02:50year they'll be working on some special projects too. Here in Wallace & Gromit's Salamatic, we're
02:55making some gnome improvements based on the latest BAFTA-winning film, Vengeance Most Foul. So keep
03:02your eyes peeled for some characterful new additions, including our friend Norbot. Neat and tidy! Oh, and
03:09there's something about a chicken. Or is it a penguin? Or actually, it could be a numb!
03:14We're also floating down the River of Dreams and weaving new visions of Wanderlust for a
03:26newly reimagined River Caves. We are truly excited to be working on the future of this
03:32much-loved family attraction, and we're already underway, drawing up plans ready to start work
03:38for your future enjoyment. We know we have a huge obligation to you, our guests, to keep creating
03:45the new, but to continue to restore the traditional favourites. That's what makes us so special, we
03:50appreciate your patience as we go through this transformational period. We're certain it will be
