00:13Changes to the road layout on St Mary's Way in Roughton Stall have started to take shape this
00:17week. From today a permanent lane closure will be put in place southbound from the Asda Junction
00:23to the Baker Road Junction. The work will take place on Monday and Tuesday at off-peak times
00:29between 9am and 3.30pm to minimise disruption as much as possible. Construction of a further lane
00:36will be closed on this section of the road, temporarily reducing travel southbound to one

01:34Trolleytown Centre. A motorcyclist in his 50s has died after a crash in Trolley. The man was taken to
01:41hospital after a collision with a van at the junction of Palmwell and Coventry Street in Trolley.
01:48Emergency services were called to the scene around 8.07am and the injured
01:54man was rushed to hospital for treatment. He sadly died from his injuries on Saturday.

02:34The inquest said that Mr Murray, known as Taffy, had a history of abuse in drugs, alcohol
02:38and he had mental health issues.
