00:11Unconfirmed reports are swirling on social media that Southport killer Axel Ruddikibana has been beaten up by his mates.
00:19He has allegedly been attacked by other prisoners after being sentenced earlier this week.
00:23He has been sentenced to a minimum of 52 years for the sadistic murders of three young girls in an attack described as shocking and pure evil.
00:31Rumours started to circulate on social media yesterday that he had been attacked, however the Ministry of Justice has confirmed this to be untrue.

01:04One of four lanes has been closed on the M6 following a crash.
01:09The incident occurred earlier this morning on the M6 northbound between junction 13 and junction 14.

01:59The potential tenant has not been revealed but would be an operator selling bulky goods, food and drinks from the unit, covering 929 square metres of space.
