00:00I didn't think our performance was great, but it's great to see an improving team getting

00:24another win because it was really important for us. I don't think we played at our best,

00:29I think Wednesday took so much out of us today and it just felt as if we were sort of fighting

00:36it, but getting the goal early gave us a chance and then we conceded really after half-time

00:43when I was annoyed with them because I didn't think they'd played well in the first half

00:46and I wanted us to play better. I thought we got a bit better even though we'd conceded

00:50the goal, I thought we got a bit better, but it took a real resilient performance to make

00:55sure that we didn't concede a second goal because Crystal Palace kept the ball alive,

00:59kept putting it back in the box, put us under pressure a lot and fortunately we got a goal

01:05which got us the victory.

01:07Just to have these ideas about that last half, it looks as if the side that's so depleted

01:13with injuries and with suspension, if they get hit with a goal just after half-time,

01:17it'd be easy to lack a bit of resilience there for the heads to go under, instead they came

01:22through.

01:23I agree, I thought that for us to sort of come back and get it back, because it looked

01:28as if we could have folded at that point, just after we'd conceded the goal right after

01:33half-time.

01:34The players have been fantastic, the resilience to stick at it, they deserve a great deal

01:42of credit and they're getting it, the supporters are cheering them from the rafters because

01:47they're committed, they're determined, they're putting their bodies on the line and we're

01:53getting the results from it at the moment, so I think it's great and I'm really pleased

01:59with them.

02:03Is it a little bit deeper than perhaps he's used to?

02:06Yeah, we played him today and I think he'd done great for us, he got the goal.

02:12I thought he'd started to tire midway through the second half and you'd start to notice

02:16how he was getting cramped, but luckily I didn't take him off because he got the goal

02:20after that and then we decided to change, but really pleased that he made a good start

02:25because we're so short of players, we're so short of players at the moment and we just

02:30can't afford any more injuries, we're really struggling now.

02:34Can you start to believe that the second half 13 points clear or is it still a minus?

02:39No, there's still huge caution, but I want to start believing that we can be better now,

02:45but what I need to do, I want more improvement, I want to see more improvement from the players

02:50as well, I want us to play better when we can, but I don't want us to lose the good

02:57habits they've got, being tough, resilient, committed, all the things which when you're

03:03not quite so good you've got to make sure you do those bits well.
