00:10Russia's lower house of parliament will pass legislation allowing Ukraine's southern
00:14Crimea region to join Russia in the very near future, as deputy speaker said today. An overwhelming
00:2095.5% of voters on the mostly Russian-speaking peninsula chose to succeed from Ukraine, according
00:25to partial results from Sunday's referendum. There was sharp international condemnation
00:30of the vote, with the European Union terming the referendum illegal and illegitimate.
