00:00Good morning to all of us. This is the latest weather update for the day of Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

00:09At the moment, we are not seeing or monitoring LPA or typhoons inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility,

00:17even though the strong winds and shear lines are still blowing and affecting some parts of the Luzon area.

00:25Although we are not seeing any heavy clouds or any bad weather that could cause continuous rains throughout the day in some parts of our country,

00:37we are seeing generally fair weather conditions in a large part of our province today.

00:45Although possible, later tonight, it is possible that the effects of the shear line will be felt again,

00:51especially in the eastern part of the southern Luzon area in the Bicol Region, as well as in the eastern section of Visayas.

01:01So later tonight, we will be able to experience the shear lines in the mentioned areas.

01:08And in the next few days, we will not be able to see LPA or typhoons that could possibly affect any part of our country.

01:16That is why we expect that generally fair weather conditions will continue in a large part of our province until the next few days.

01:26So the weather will be changing here in Luzon.

01:31If we can see in our latest satellite image, the northeast monsoon is still affecting the northern and central zone area.

01:40Because of the cold weather, we expect cloudy skies and light to moderate rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

01:53Meanwhile, the shear line could also be affected by heavy rains in some parts of Quezon Province.

02:00In the northern part of Luzon, in Ilocos Region, and in the northern part of Central Luzon, as well as here in Metro Manila,

02:10the weather will be clear except for the possibility of heavy rains or typhoons.

02:18And in the northern part of Luzon, in the Calabar Zone of Maropa, as well as in the Bicol Region,

02:24isolated thunderstorms or typhoons could still be possible.

02:32As for the temperature forecast, in the neighboring cities here in Luzon,

02:37it is possible to reach 30 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures today here in Lawag, Metro Manila, and Legazpi City.

02:46The temperature will be cold at 2 degrees Celsius today, ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

02:52And in Tagaytay, the temperature range will range from 21 to 28 degrees Celsius.

02:59Here in Baguio, the temperature could range from 14 to 21 degrees Celsius.

03:06As for the weather forecast for the other parts of our country, here in Palawan, Visayas, and also in Mindanao,

03:14we do not expect continuous rains throughout the day.

03:17So we expect generally fair weather as well.

03:21It will be hot in the afternoon, and there are still chances of sudden rains,

03:27especially when it comes to the afternoon or evening.

03:32As for the temperature forecast for the neighboring cities in Palawan, Kalayaan Islands,

03:38it will range from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures today here in Puerto Princesa.

03:46As for the neighboring cities in Visayas or over Visayas area,

03:51the temperatures for Iloilo and Cebu maximum temperatures could reach 30 degrees Celsius

03:58and 31 degrees Celsius for Tacloban.

04:02Here in Mindanao, Zamboanga, and also in Metro Davao,

04:07the temperature could reach 32 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures.

04:11And for Aguat, the temperature today in Cagayan de Oro could range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

04:20As for the sea level, there are still signs of high waves or gale warnings

04:27in the northern coast of the Northern Luzon,

04:30in the coastal areas of Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and also in the northern coast of Ilocos Norte.

04:37So, it is still dangerous to go out, especially for our countrymen who have small vehicles.
