00:00Good morning to all of us. Today is January 11, 2025 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
00:10The shear line or the combination of hot and cold wind is still circulating here in the eastern part of Southern Luzon and Visayas,
00:19where today it will continue to rain, especially here in the Bicol region and in some areas of Eastern Visayas.
00:28So continue to be careful for our countrymen there in the high winds and landslides.
00:35Meanwhile, the North-East Monsoon or AMIHA will continue to fall in the cold weather here in Northern and Central Luzon.
00:43And there is also this cloudy sky that will be accompanied by rain in a large part of Northern Luzon,
00:50even here in the eastern part of Central Luzon today.
00:54And at the moment, we are not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas that may affect our country.
01:03And for the time being, today is Saturday,
01:06the sky is cloudy with rain that you will still experience here in the part of Mimaropa, even in the Bicol region.
01:14And these rains are moderate to heavy and sometimes intense,
01:20especially here in the Bicol region.
01:23So again, continue to be careful for our countrymen there in the high winds and landslides
01:31that may be affected by the rain brought by the shear line.
01:35Meanwhile, the North-East Monsoon or AMIHA will continue to fall in the cold weather
01:41and the cloudy sky that will be accompanied by rain here in the Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:46even in the part of Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and in the area of Quezon.
01:51Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila, even in the vast part of Luzon,
01:56the sky will be partly cloudy to partly cloudy.
01:59The time that we will experience is still partly cold, especially in the early hours and at night.
02:06And we still have the possibility of isolated rains brought by the AMIHA.
02:12The average temperature here in Metro Manila is from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:19Meanwhile, in the part of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:22the entire part of Visayas will still experience a cloudy sky with rains brought by the shear line.
02:30And again, the rains that we will experience here in the summer provinces
02:35are possible to be moderate to heavy rains that may still bring floods and landslides.
02:42And the Intertropical Conversion Zone or ITCZ,
02:46today will also bring rains here in the part of Davao Region and in the area of Soxar.
02:54And in the vast part of Mindanao, we will only experience isolated rains brought by localized thunderstorms.
03:03And during severe thunderstorms, these rains are still possible to be moderate
03:08to heavy rains that may bring floods and landslides.
03:13So be careful for our countrymen.
03:16The average temperature in Cebu is from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:21And in Davao, it is 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:27And in the next three days, we will see that we do not have a storm or low-pressure area
03:32that can enter or be formed inside our area of responsibility.
03:36But some parts of our country will still experience rains brought by the shear line
03:43where we still have heavy to intense rains that we will experience today.
03:48Here in the part of Northern Samar, Albay, Sorsogon, and in the area of Catanduanes.
03:54Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains in Masbate, Camarines Sur, and in the area of Camarines Norte.
04:01Meanwhile, tomorrow, heavy to intense rains in Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,
04:09and in the area of Catanduanes, and moderate to heavy rains in Quezon, Albay, Sorsogon,
04:16Masbate, and in the area of Northern Samar, it is still brought by the shear line.
04:23And by Monday, we will still experience moderate to heavy rains in Quezon, Camarines Norte,
04:31Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, and in the area of Catanduanes.
04:37Again, continue to be careful for our countrymen in the face of floods and landslides.
04:44Also, we should be aware of our LGUs and we should also be alert,
04:49especially in areas prone to floods and landslides,
04:54even in areas where continuous rains have been experienced since the past few days.
05:02And in the area of Amihan, we also have a high gale warning.
05:07In the coastal towns of Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union,
05:12in the western coast of Pangasinan, in Cagayan, along with Babuyan Islands,
05:17in Isabela, Aurora, in the northern and eastern coast of Polilio Islands,
05:22even in parts of Calaguas Islands, and in the northern and eastern coast of Catanduanes,
05:27where we do not allow our fishermen and small fishing boats to sail.
05:37Here in Metro Manila, the sun will rise later at 6.24 a.m. and set later at 5.44 p.m.
