00:00Happy Wednesday to all of us. I am Benison Estareja.
00:05Three different weather systems are still in effect in our country.
00:10First is the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amiha that is still warming.
00:14Here in the northern part of Luzon, the cold temperature is still increasing.
00:19The hot wind from the east, also known as the eastern east,
00:23is affecting the vast majority of Visayas and Mindanao,
00:26and it is also causing rain in the eastern sections.
00:28And the third is the shear line.
00:31This is the line where the cold wind and the hot eastern east meet.
00:37And when this hot and cold wind is combined,
00:40it can cause flooding and rain.
00:42We can see here in our latest satellite animation,
00:45the rain continues in some areas of central and southern Luzon.
00:49And still based on our latest satellite animation,
00:52we do not see any storms entering our Philippine area of responsibility until the weekend.
00:59It will still rain in many areas of Luzon because it is still the Northeast Monsoon.
01:04That is one of the Amiha.
01:06And what will bring mild to moderate rain is still here in the areas of Cagayan Valley
01:11and some parts of the Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:14such as Calinga, Apayao, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.
01:18So be careful of floods and landslides,
01:21especially in the areas of Cordillera and Caraballo Mountain Ranges.
01:25Meanwhile, here in some parts of the Cordillera Region,
01:30Benguet, Abra, Ilocos Region,
01:32and this left part of Central Luzon,
01:34Cabina ng Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Tarlac,
01:38the sky is partly cloudy until the sky is cloudy.
01:40And it is still accompanied by mild to moderate rain effects of the Northeast Monsoon.
01:46To our fellowmen here in this part of Central Luzon,
01:49it is still expected that there will be heavy rains due to the shear line
01:53or the heat and cold winds,
01:56including Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Metro Manila.
02:01A large part of Calabarzon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,
02:05and the province of Catanduanes.
02:07So make sure that you have an umbrella if you are going out of your house.
02:11It is possible that there will be more or less 100 mm of rain
02:14that is moderate to heavy or intense rains at times
02:18in Quezon, Aurora, and Camarines Norte
02:21while we have moderate to heavy rains in the other places we mentioned
02:25even though be careful of flooding and landslides.
02:29In the remaining part of Luzon,
02:31including Mimaropa and the remaining part of Bicol Region,
02:35the sky is partly cloudy until the sky is still cloudy.
02:37And it is accompanied by mild to moderate rain effects or heat and cold winds.
02:40And if you sleep, there is a high chance that it will last until the evening.
02:44In Metro Manila, the temperature is from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:48And due to the influence of the flood,
02:50our temperatures are also decreasing gradually
02:53in a large part of the Northern and Central Luzon
02:55and in Baguio from 17 to 24 degrees Celsius.
02:59Our countrymen should also bring an umbrella
03:02to the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao
03:05because it will still be affected by the easterlies or the wind from the east.
03:08Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur
03:13have high chances of rain.
03:15Be careful of flooding and landslides.
03:18The remaining part of Visayas plus the Palawan region
03:22is partly cloudy until the sky is still cloudy in the morning.
03:25But the rain will also be expected
03:27when it reaches the evening until the night,
03:29especially in the southern portions of Visayas.
03:31These are the areas of Southern Leyte up to Bohol,
03:35Southern Cebuat,
03:36and the eastern part of Negros Island region.
03:40These are the areas affected by the Volcano Canlaon.
03:44We can expect rain there.
03:46While in the remaining part of Mindanao,
03:48it is partly cloudy until the sun is still shining in the morning.
03:51But there are also areas where the rain and thunderstorms
03:55will reach the evening until the night.
03:57These are the remaining parts of the Caraga region
04:00and Davao region.
04:02These are the southern portions of Basilan, Sulu-Tawitawi
04:04and the southern portions of Soksatjen.
04:07The temperature in Palawan is still possible
04:10to be a bit hot up to 32°C.
04:13In a large part of Visayas,
04:15it is from 26°C to 31°C.
04:18While here in Mindanao, it is from 25°C.
04:21But it is still the hottest in Zamboanga City and Cotabato
04:24up to 34°C.
04:27For our fellow Filipinos,
04:29we do not have a high-level gale warning
04:31because the winds are not that strong for now.
04:34But our waves here in the big town of Luzon
04:38plus the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao
04:41are a bit wavy up to 3.4 meters
04:44or in a part of the house of waves
04:46in a large part of the Caragatan.
04:48So be careful.
04:50It is still possible for our small seavessles to be affected.
04:52The waves will be dangerous.
04:54But here in the remaining towns of Visayas and Mindanao,
04:56the waves are moderate to moderate.
05:00And for our T-Day weather forecast,
05:02the effects of different weather systems are still there.
05:05Northeast monsoon here in Northern Luzon
05:08is still shearline in Central and Southern Luzon.
05:11While in the remaining parts of the country,
05:13here in Visayas and Mindanao,
05:15sometimes it is easterly and there are times
05:17when the Intertropical Convergence Zone is still active
05:20or the wind waves from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
05:23In Northern Luzon, from Thursday to Saturday,
05:26the cold weather is expected
05:28and it will be accompanied by mild to moderate rain
05:30in the Cagayan Valley
05:32and a large part of the Cordillera Administrative Region.
05:35It will only be dry rain in the Ilocos Region
05:38and the left part of Central Luzon.
05:40For our townspeople in Aurora,
05:42it is still there in our Quezon
05:44and some parts of Camarines Norte, Laguna, Rizal,
05:47Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija,
05:50there will still be scattered rains
05:52and at some point, until Thursday,
05:54it will be affected by the shearline
05:56or the waves of Amihan and Easterly.
05:58So make sure that we have an umbrella
06:00and still be careful of flood and landslides.
06:03And finally, here in the eastern sides of our country,
06:06in Visayas and Mindanao,
06:08as part of the Eastern Visayas,
06:10Caraga and Davao Region,
06:12there are scattered rains.
06:14Our rains are more frequent in those areas
06:16and in this part of Visayas and Mindanao,
06:18the rains will also be frequent
06:20from the afternoon to the evening,
06:22from Thursday to Saturday.
06:24That is the effect of Easterly
06:26plus the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
06:27This is a very important part
06:29of our rainfall advisories
06:31and even heavy rainfall warnings
06:33in a large part of our country.
06:35Our sunrise is at 6.11 in the morning
06:37and the sunset is at 5.28 in the afternoon.
06:39That is the latest from
06:41the Weather Forecasting Center of Pagasa.
06:43I am again, Benison S. Tareja
06:45saying, anytime,
06:47hope for a good solution.
