00:00Good morning to all. Today is February 7, 2025 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
00:10We can see here in our satellite animation the thick clouds here in the eastern part of Visayas,
00:17even in the large part of Southern Luzon.
00:20Where these clouds are brought by shear line or the combination of hot and cold wind.
00:26And we expect that in the next few days, this shear line will bring rain in the large part of Southern Luzon and Visayas,
00:35especially here in the eastern part of it.
00:38So be careful for our countrymen there, in the possibility or risk of floods and landslides.
00:45Meanwhile, Northeast Monsuno, Amihan, is still affected by the thick part of Luzon.
00:52Where today, it will also have a high chance of rain here in the large part of Northern and Central Luzon,
00:59even here in the part of Metro Manila.
01:02And we expect that even in the next few days, Amihan will continue to be strong
01:09and it will still bring cold weather here in the large part of Luzon.
01:14At the moment, we are not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas that could affect our country.
01:23And for the time being, today is Friday.
01:26The large part of Luzon will experience rains today,
01:31brought by Northeast Monsun and the shear line.
01:34Where today, here in the Bicol region, Calabarzon and Mimaropa,
01:39we will experience moderate to heavy and sometimes intense rains brought by the shear line.
01:47So again, be careful for our countrymen there, in the possibility or risk of floods and landslides.
01:53Meanwhile, here in the area of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Administrative Region, Aurora,
01:59even in the part of Bulacan and Bataan, even here in Metro Manila,
02:04today, we will experience cloudy skies and high chances of rains brought by the shear line.
02:11So when we go out, let's not forget our precautions here in these rains.
02:17Meanwhile, in the area of Ilocos Region and most of Central Luzon,
02:22we will only experience mild rains or storms brought by the shear line.
02:29Meanwhile, in the area of Visayas and Mindanao, we will still experience cloudy skies and rains,
02:57this whole part of Visayas, even Palawan and the area of Dinagat Islands,
03:02it is still affected by the shear line.

03:22The temperature in Cebua is from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius,
03:26and in Davao, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:38we have issued a weather advisory where today,
03:42we will experience heavy to intense rains in the Eastern Samar, Northern Samar,
03:48Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, and in Catanduanes.
03:52Meanwhile, the rains are moderate to heavy here in Biliran, Samar, Masbate, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro,
04:00Marinduque, Camarines Norte, and in Quezon.
04:03Meanwhile, tomorrow, there will still be heavy to intense rains here in Quezon and in the area of Camarines Norte.
04:12And the rains are moderate to heavy here in Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Sur,
04:18even in Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan.
04:22Meanwhile, by Sunday, the rains brought by the shear line will decrease,
04:28but there are still moderate to heavy rains here in the area of Quezon and in Camarines Norte.
04:35Once again, be careful for our countrymen in the event of floods and landslides.
04:41And also, we should be aware of our LGUs,
04:44especially our areas that are prone to flash floods and landslides, even in mountainous areas.

04:56we still have a high-level gale warning here in the northern and eastern coast of Catanduanes,

05:05and in the eastern coast of Eastern Samar,
