00:00Good morning to all of us. Here is the weather update for Monday, February 10, 2025.
00:08We are still not monitoring any typhoons or low-pressure areas inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:17But we have three weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:22First is the North East Monsoon or the winds that are continuously blowing here in a large part of Luzon.
00:29Meanwhile, the Easterlies or the hot and windy winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are continuously blowing here in Mindanao.
00:39Now, because of the North East Monsoon, because of the cold winds that it brings, and the Easterlies, the hot winds,
00:47it is resulting in the so-called shear line that brings rain, especially here in the Bay of Bicol region and in the Bay of Visayas.
01:01Because of the three weather systems that are affecting our country, it brings rain in different parts of our country.
01:10First is the North East Monsoon. We expect to experience heavy rains here in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:22several parts of Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
01:26As for the shear line, we expect to experience heavy rains here in Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, and Maropa.
01:39As for the western section of Northern Luzon, particularly here in the Ilocos Region,
01:44we expect that they will experience light weather, but we also expect isolated storms.
01:53Temperature for Metro Manila, 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
01:57Lawag, 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.
02:00For Tuguegarao, we expect 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.
02:04Baguio, 15 to 22 degrees Celsius.
02:07Tagaytay, 20 to 27 degrees Celsius.
02:10And Legazpi, 25 to 28 degrees Celsius.
02:15We also expect heavy rains here in Palawan and Visayas, along the shear line.
02:22We also expect heavy rains here in Micaragay, along the Easter Leaves.
02:30As for the southern part of Mindanao, we expect light weather,
02:35but we also expect localized thunderstorms or light rains in the afternoon and evening.
02:43Temperature for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa, 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.
02:49Iloilo, we expect 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:53Tacloban, 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:56Cagayan de Oro, 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:00For Cebu, we expect 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:03Muangga, 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
03:06And Dabao, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:10We also have a weather advisory.
03:14We expect moderate to heavy or 50 to 100 millimeters of rain here in Palawan,
03:21Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon,
03:28Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, and Leyte.
03:32Throughout this day, we expect rain in the yellow areas.
03:39Because of the recent rains, we expect localized flooding and landslides.
03:49So be careful for our fellowmen.
03:53For tomorrow, the axis of our shear line will shift.
03:58It will bring moderate to heavy or 50 to 100 millimeters of rain here in Aurora, Quezon,
04:05Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Oriental Mindoro.
04:11So we still expect flash floods and landslides.
04:17Wednesday, the axis of our shear line will shift.
04:21It will bring moderate to heavy or 50 to 100 millimeters of rain here in Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
04:35Because of the Northeast monsoon, we have a high-level gale warning here in Batanes, Cagayan,
04:41along with Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, Aurora, Sambales,
04:49Northern Coast of Quezon, along with Polilio Islands, Camarines Norte, Northern Coast of Camarines Sur.
04:56Also here in the Northern and Eastern Coast of Catanduanes, Eastern Coast of Albay, Eastern Coast of Sorsogon,
05:03Calayan Islands, Northern and Eastern Coast of Northern Samar, Eastern Coast of Eastern Samar.
05:09That's why we are warning our countrymen, especially those who have small sea vehicles,
05:15to be careful here in our coastal waters.
05:20The sunrise will be at 6.22am and the sunset will be at 5.59am.
