00:00Thank you very much for your attention and see you in the next video.
00:30Sustainability in Venice, Venice Sustainability Foundation,
00:34makes the point on Activity 2024 and Prospective 2025.
00:39Interprofessional funds, the challenges of the future.
00:47As of December 18, anyone can upload their CV
00:51and navigate between training and work offers
00:54available on the platform designed and designed by the Ministry of Labour
00:57and Social Policies and managed by the IMSS.
01:00The information system for social and employment inclusion, SISL in fact,
01:04evolves and becomes an innovative workplace marketplace,
01:08marking an important step towards greater social and employment inclusion.
01:12This advanced platform offers new opportunities to citizens and businesses,
01:16reinforcing the commitment to a more dynamic and accessible job market.
01:20It is as announced during a press conference at Palazzo Chigi,
01:23held by the Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Marina Calderone.
01:27The President of the IMSS, Gabriele Fava, is also present at the meeting.
01:31The platform is the real platform that will launch the active policies
01:36for which we will deal.
01:39So you will find yourself in front of a single entity
01:43that will deal with labour policies, manage labour policies.
01:47And this goes against, if we want, that famous generative welfare
01:51of which I have always spoken, that is, the personalization
01:54throughout the life cycle of people, of services,
01:58which today and tomorrow, also in terms of active policies,
02:04will be provided by the Institute that I have the honour of presiding over.
02:08More than 2.2 million citizens already certified,
02:11more than 63,000 courses of training published,
02:14more than 332,000 job positions reported
02:17and more than 40,000 jobs already started.
02:20These are the main data obtained so far with the use of the platform.
02:24They make us think about how important it is to improve
02:29the performance of the platform through, for example,
02:33SISMS Best Batch, which is that algorithm that will really
02:37intercept and therefore correlate the CVs with the job offers on the platform.
02:42It is the most effective way, I think, to try to give a concrete answer
02:47also to unemployment.
02:49The Institute is committed to always working in favour of employment.
02:53In progress we continue to improve, and we continue to improve,
02:57always and only in favour of employment, and in favour of employment
03:03for both young men and women and then also for the rest of the population.
03:12Creating an integrated, environmental, economic and social model
03:15of sustainable development for the city of Venice and its metropolitan area,
03:19which can revitalize the local socio-economy,
03:22guaranteeing in context the protection and conservation
03:25of the environmental, historical and cultural heritage,
03:28as well as the strengthening and cohesion of the local community.
03:31This is the goal of the Venice Foundation,
03:33the world capital of sustainability,
03:35the Venice Sustainability Foundation,
03:37which has organized a meeting with IMMEDIA
03:39to discuss the activities carried out in 2024
03:42and the future projects with President Renato Brunetta.
03:46The Foundation was born to attract sustainable investments in Venice.
03:50It is the only way to save the city,
03:53which is now saved by water, thanks to MOSE,
03:57it must also be saved from an economic point of view,
04:01that is, jobs, young people, families.
04:06This is the future of Venice.
04:10To do this, investments are needed, investments in the future,
04:14sustainable investments, investments that aim
04:19at energy, the environment, urban sustainability,
04:24the sustainability of over-tourism, of excess tourism.
04:30This is the task of the Foundation,
04:33to attract sustainable investments.
04:36To do this, we have put together 47 partners,
04:40among founders and co-founders,
04:42the largest scientific institutions in the city,
04:46the academies, the universities, the CNR,
04:49and then the largest multinational companies,
04:52Italian and foreign.
04:54This is our task.
04:55With 2024, we had at least 100 rises of MOSE.
05:00A rise of MOSE means
05:02that Venice has been preserved by high waters.
05:06From the beginning of the rise of MOSE,
05:10October 3, 2020, to 2024,
05:13there have been 100 rises of mobile barriers.
05:17So Venice has been preserved by 100 floods
05:23and has given an extraordinary sign of the future.
05:27Having this awareness,
05:30we look forward to the next decades
05:33thanks to this extraordinary work, which is MOSE,
05:36and thanks to the work we are doing
05:39to attract sustainable investments.
05:42If for the Foundation 2024 turned out to be profitable and favourable,
05:462025 is expected to be even richer in initiatives.
05:49Since it is a disparate year,
05:51the year in which we organize the Sustainability Biennale,
05:54a program of events, activities, conferences,
06:02and exhibitions that discuss with international interlocutors
06:11the issues and problems
06:16and also the achievements of the Foundation
06:22with those who deal with the same issues and problems
06:25on the large field of sustainability and territorial development
06:29in other parts of the world.
06:31Starting from what is codified as the issue of climate resilience,
06:39that is, the ability of a territory to find solutions
06:43to adapt to the effects of climate change.
06:51In the case of Venice, in particular, the issue of rising sea levels.
07:00The role of interprofessional funds is fundamental in corporate training
07:05and the challenges they face are numerous.
07:08Interprofessional funds are an excellent opportunity
07:12for companies in the private sector
07:14because they allow to finance the training of employees.
07:19I think that the main challenges that interprofessional funds face
07:24in the near future are three,
07:27and they are fundamentally related to the further simplification processes
07:33of the procedures,
07:34i.e. paper zero and financing of the interventions
07:39made in the company's time.
07:41The company needs to start as soon as possible
07:44and therefore the funds should respond to the company's requests.
07:48The second is about quality.
07:50Funds cannot only be limited to financing a training course.
07:55We must study the impact of training in the short term
07:59both on the organization, i.e. on the company,
08:02and on the same managers,
08:04therefore verify the effectiveness of the training itself.
08:07The last challenge that funds must face
08:11is to make available to managers and employees
08:16who participate in the training courses
08:19systems of identification, transparency,
08:23certification and validation of skills.
08:26This is a new role,
08:28to which funds have been called by Decree 115,
08:32to increase the importance of training in our country
08:38and the role of interprofessional funds,
08:40i.e. entities and structures,
08:42to support the growth of our country.
09:03ENERGY EFFICIENCY
09:24Thanks to projects carried out since 2021
09:27and aimed at respecting the indications of Europe
09:30in terms of energy efficiency,
09:32in 2023 Italy obtained new energy savings
09:35for a total of 3.6 million tons of oil.
09:39This is one of the data emerged
09:41from the 13th annual ENEA report on energy efficiency.
09:44ENEA obviously plays the role of a privileged observer,
09:48it follows these dynamics and contributes to providing solutions,
09:52also prospecting possible actions
09:56to the competent ministries of action,
09:59involving all stakeholders,
10:01who then participate in various levels
10:03on the subject of energy efficiency
10:05and above all also citizens.
10:07Let us remember that energy efficiency
10:09is done through the end user,
10:11so a change of behavior is also needed
10:13and a collective sharing of the importance
10:16of energy efficiency in terms of positive outcomes
10:19from the point of view of savings
10:21and from the point of view of reducing polluting emissions.
10:24These are the results of a virtuous path
10:27in which the role of tax deductions,
10:30which have contributed to more than half of the total savings,
10:33as well as the weight of energy efficiency titles,
10:36incentive policies and obligations
10:39for large enterprises and energy companies, is paramount.
10:41The data at the national level
10:43are certainly encouraging.
10:45We have recognized a continuation
10:48of a positive trend of savings obtained
10:52and this obviously gives us optimism.
10:55There are about 3.6 MTEP
10:58savings obtained in 2023
11:02to be counted in the objectives of the PNIEC.
11:07At the event of the presentation of the report
11:09held in Rome at Spazio Europa,
11:11also exponents of the institutions intervened,
11:14including the Minister of the Environment
11:16and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Frattin,
11:19and the President of the Parliamentary Office of Bilancio,
11:21Lidia Cavallari.
11:23The first indication that emerges
11:25is the need to act quickly
11:28on the PNRR,
11:31in particular on projects related to energy efficiency.
11:34This is also important for a reason,
11:38which is that these projects
11:41have an impact on the economy,
11:43on growth,
11:45which is higher than projects
11:48such as non-renewable energy,
11:51the multiplier of investments in alternative energy,
11:54in renewable energy,
11:56is about twice the multiplier
11:58of investments in fossil energy.
12:00The ENEA, established in the 1960s,
12:02is the national agency for new technologies,
12:04energy and sustainable economic development.
12:07Its annual reports photograph at the national level
12:10the state and the evolution of measures
12:13for energy efficiency.
12:15Renewable energy, energy efficiency
12:18and sustainable development.
12:21A mix of factors that converge
12:23in the inauguration of the new photovoltaic glass roof
12:26in the Cortile delle Corazze of the Vatican Museums.
12:29The project, as a result of the collaboration
12:31between the Governorate of the Vatican City and ACEA,
12:34has been completed in record time,
12:36just six months.
12:38Made by Areti, a company of the ACEA group,
12:40specialized in the distribution of electricity in Rome,
12:43it is included in a comprehensive vision
12:45of sustainability and energy efficiency for the Vatican,
12:49which continues with further interventions
12:51provided in the coming months.
12:53The new structure covers a surface of 1,200 square meters
12:57and stands out for its double impact.
12:59On the one hand, the installation of photovoltaic glasses
13:02will allow an annual production of renewable energy.
13:05On the other hand, the aesthetic and functional aspect
13:07of the roof values one of the most iconic places
13:09of the Eternal City.
13:11It is a system that, as we see,
13:13is composed of 235 high-performance photovoltaic panels,
13:18which was realized thanks to the coordination of Areti
13:22together with a series of suppliers and subcontractors
13:26in a harmony that allowed to realize everything in six months,
13:31obviously reconciling the realization of this infrastructure
13:35with the visits of tourists
13:37that have never been interrupted during this period.
13:39In addition to the cover of the courtyard and the courtyards,
13:41the project also includes the installation of photovoltaic glasses
13:44for the Vignaccia warehouse in the Vatican Gardens,
13:47which will be completed within the first months of 2025.
13:51Overall, the two plants will offer a power of 350 kW
13:55of photovoltaic peak for a total production
13:58of about 500 MW of electricity per year.
14:01We have developed, I must say,
14:03in great harmony with the technicians of Acea Areti,
14:07these projects that are really complex,
14:10because they are very particular, delicate structures
14:14that insist on very sensitive sites
14:17and therefore are very complex to achieve.
14:21They require time, but this has been realized
14:24really in record time.
14:26On the same day, new charging plants
14:29for electric vehicles, 20 fast charging points
14:32and two ultra-fast were inaugurated
14:34to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable mobility.
14:38These initiatives reiterate the commitment of the Vatican
14:41to technological innovation and environmental protection,
14:44combining tradition and modernity
14:46in the heart of a site that is a symbol of culture
14:48and world history.
