00:14:20Evening, coach. How you doing today?
00:14:22Good evening, X. How are you?
00:14:24Good. Can't complain.
00:14:26If you're ready, we're gonna go ahead
00:14:28and get started with questions. Pat Freeman will have our first question.
00:14:30Yeah, I'm ready. Go ahead.
00:14:36Good afternoon, coach. How you doing today?
00:14:38Pat Freeman from the Buffalo Criterion
00:14:40Newspaper. Hi, Pat.
00:14:42I'm doing well. How are you? I'm okay.
00:14:44Just want to first ask you about the health of
00:14:46the team coming out of the game.
00:14:48Yeah, so the injury update
00:14:50I'll have for you here. I'll read through them.
00:14:52So Russell Douglas
00:14:54getting better.
00:14:56We'll see how he does
00:14:58this week as we get into it.
00:15:00Same with Taylor Rapp, Damar Hamlin,
00:15:02Casey Tuhill,
00:15:04Matt Milano,
00:15:06Josh is all good. He had some of those
00:15:08tests after the game. He's all good as well.
00:15:10Spencer Brown,
00:15:12Curtis Samuel, Dorian Williams
00:15:14returned to the game.
00:15:16Their day-to-day. We'll see how they do.
00:15:18And then Tylen Grable
00:15:20currently on IR. So his
00:15:22decision will come in the next couple of days
00:15:24here. So that's what I have
00:15:26for you. Nothing definitive on those
00:15:28injuries. Still gathering
00:15:30information and taking it one day at a time.
00:15:32All right. Coach, I
00:15:34wanted to ask you about this
00:15:36particular game.
00:15:38Had to be something
00:15:40that you were very happy with.
00:15:42You didn't have to make an adjustment with
00:15:44the run. 15
00:15:46rushes for 48 yards. What
00:15:48was significant with that?
00:15:50And obviously the play,
00:15:52outstanding play of Ed Oliver.
00:15:54He really came to play yesterday.
00:15:56Yeah, I thought it was physical right
00:15:58from the start. Physical
00:16:00with intention, attitude.
00:16:02The guys were wearing their
00:16:04emotions on their sleeves.
00:16:06They had a purpose when they took
00:16:08the field on that first drive.
00:16:10I think the first two drives,
00:16:12I don't know if both, I think both may have been
00:16:14three and outs or the first one was.
00:16:16But either way, we forced
00:16:18a punt against a really good offense.
00:16:20Got us up,
00:16:22helped get us up 14-zip right there
00:16:24right off the bat, which was important for us.
00:16:26Then start the second half the same way.
00:16:28The early
00:16:30punt and then the forced fumble
00:16:32setting up our offense right there. So really good
00:16:34start to both halves there
00:16:36on the defensive side.
00:16:38Well, my last
00:16:40question to you is a congratulations.
00:16:42You became the fifth
00:16:44coach in NFL
00:16:46history to record
00:16:48five straight 11
00:16:50win seasons.
00:16:52You've always come in with a great attitude
00:16:54and I appreciate what you've
00:16:56accomplished during your tenure
00:16:58here in Buffalo. Congratulations.
00:17:00I certainly appreciate that.
00:17:02That means a lot. Hard to do
00:17:04and it's never about one person. You know that.
00:17:06But hey, God is good and I'm
00:17:08extremely grateful
00:17:10for being here in Buffalo.
00:17:12All right. Thank you, Coach.
00:17:14Thank you. Hey, Coach.
00:17:16Over with Channel 10 in Rochester. How are you doing
00:17:18today? I'm well. How are you?
00:17:20Not bad. I know yesterday
00:17:22you mentioned
00:17:24kind of the rare
00:17:26era of beating the Chiefs, the 1C and the
00:17:28AFC and beating the Lions, the 1C
00:17:30and the NFC as it stands.
00:17:32How big
00:17:34is it to play games like this late
00:17:36in the season against strong
00:17:38opponents as you guys prep
00:17:40towards the postseason?
00:17:42No, it's big.
00:17:44There's
00:17:46certain challenges on your schedule.
00:17:48Every week's a challenge, I should say.
00:17:50Then there's other ones that
00:17:52just have a little bit more
00:17:54kind of spice in them.
00:17:56That was the case
00:17:58yesterday
00:18:00for multiple reasons.
00:18:02I think you could tell
00:18:04with our level of play
00:18:06and the way that all three
00:18:08phases came out. The team came out
00:18:10and they were set
00:18:12on what they wanted to accomplish yesterday.
00:18:14Then your next three games
00:18:16all against divisional opponents.
00:18:18They don't have the records, maybe, that
00:18:20the strongest records,
00:18:22not records that the Lions have.
00:18:24Playing divisional
00:18:26games this late in the season,
00:18:28does that kind of add
00:18:30a little bit more emphasis? The fact that
00:18:32these are rivals, right?
00:18:34Even though they're not great
00:18:36records, but you're still playing games against
00:18:38meaningful opponents, if that makes sense.
00:18:40No, it is. That's how the league,
00:18:42I think, the majority of the time
00:18:44shapes it. You get those
00:18:46divisional matchups that are
00:18:48always interesting, always come with a little bit more
00:18:50of a competitive edge.
00:18:52It
00:18:54makes for good football
00:18:56down the stretch for
00:18:58the organizations, the teams, and certainly
00:19:00the fans. Last question
00:19:02I got for you, kind of off-topic.
00:19:04Your game this Sunday
00:19:06got flexed from 1 o'clock to 4.30.
00:19:08Your reaction to that, were you surprised by that
00:19:10at all? No, not surprised.
00:19:12I mean, when you're a good team, that tends to
00:19:14happen this time of year. You just kind of
00:19:16keep your knees bent and stay flexible.
00:19:18Alright, thanks so much, Sean. Have a good rest of your day.
00:19:20Thanks, you too.
00:19:22Alright, Sean.
00:19:24I want to go back to the
00:19:26fourth downs in this game, or at least
00:19:28the fourth down you went for, obviously at midfield,
00:19:30and then take you to the end
00:19:32of the first half. You guys were
00:19:34near the one-yard line there. I know you had the penalty. Was there
00:19:36a point where maybe
00:19:38you would go for it as well in that situation?
00:19:40Obviously, the penalty backed you up to the six-yard
00:19:42line. Would you have thought of staying
00:19:44aggressive in that situation?
00:19:46Right, so the fourth down, I think it was
00:19:48fourth and two-and-a-half. It probably showed up in the
00:19:50scoreboard as fourth and two, but it's somewhere between
00:19:52two and three. Felt like we wanted to
00:19:54be aggressive there.
00:19:56You know, great
00:19:58play call, great execution, so it paid off.
00:20:00And then, yes, we were
00:20:02I thought that was the sequence. Didn't really
00:20:04follow that sequence of plays.
00:20:06We left some
00:20:08points out there, certainly missing the field goal,
00:20:10but even before that, thought we
00:20:12had an opportunity to
00:20:14at a minimum
00:20:16go for it on fourth down, and so
00:20:18I felt like we took ourselves out of that situation,
00:20:20certainly with the penalty.
00:20:22But overall, just felt like
00:20:24we can revisit that
00:20:26and re-evaluate
00:20:28that sequence of plays.
00:20:30On that note, I know last week you said
00:20:32Josh Allen's sneak is your best play down there.
00:20:34Is that something you might re-evaluate and look at that you would
00:20:36have done differently, possibly?
00:20:38Yeah, we talked about that, and that was actually
00:20:40being talked about on the
00:20:42headset as well. So we were
00:20:44just inside of the one-yard-to-go
00:20:46area, and sitting
00:20:48on third down, I believe, after the pass to
00:20:50Curtis on second
00:20:52down there, and felt, hey, we've got two downs.
00:20:54We're a tough team to stop with two downs
00:20:56just inside the one, for sure.
00:20:58So, again, that's
00:21:00something we have to do better.
00:21:02And then, you look at the numbers.
00:21:04Close to 500 yards passing, but
00:21:06I think everyone kind of saw how the game played
00:21:08out. There's a lot of circumstance to that, right?
00:21:10And you have Cam Lewis
00:21:12and Cole Bishop back there, and
00:21:14on top of Kairi, you have three guys who aren't normally starters.
00:21:16Can you take us into the mindset of
00:21:18what you want to make sure you're accomplishing
00:21:20with those guys, and not getting beat deep?
00:21:22They only allowed one ball over the top of their head, and
00:21:24that was even incomplete, actually.
00:21:26What the philosophy is with those guys,
00:21:28especially, as you know, they have
00:21:30to throw the ball a lot.
00:21:32Right. One-dimensional game.
00:21:34They probably went one-dimensional a little bit
00:21:36earlier than we had anticipated.
00:21:38At that point, we were up 14.
00:21:40I think that's when we caused the fumble
00:21:42in the third quarter there, and then
00:21:44they came back, certainly up 35-14,
00:21:46and stayed one-dimensional.
00:21:48And, you know, we've got
00:21:50some guys out there, for sure, to your point.
00:21:52I think three of the starting
00:21:54DBs were out, and then
00:21:56Paul went down, and Kareem came
00:21:58in, and then Alana went down,
00:22:00and Dorian came in, and at one point,
00:22:02Balin came in, because Dorian was hurt.
00:22:04So we were moving pieces in and out.
00:22:06I thought the staff did a good job with that.
00:22:08All that being said, I thought we did a phenomenal job
00:22:10in the run game, and really, overall,
00:22:12managing the game up to that point.
00:22:14And we've got to learn how to close out a game, and that's
00:22:16a combination of rushing coverage, working together,
00:22:18and someone winning their
00:22:20one-on-one matchup.
00:22:22Thanks a lot, Coach. Sure thing.
00:22:24Hey, Sean.
00:22:26You kind of mentioned it there for a second on
00:22:28Dorian and Balin, and kind of
00:22:30flipping things as injuries
00:22:32were happening throughout the game.
00:22:34What went into...
00:22:36What went into...
00:22:38When Dorian was out there for a while,
00:22:40and then was ultimately able to come back in,
00:22:42how did that play itself out?
00:22:46You kind of broke up there, Matt.
00:22:48I want to make sure I understand your question. You're talking about the flipping
00:22:50of Dorian and Balin?
00:22:52Yeah, so Dorian was in the game,
00:22:54then he was out for a while, and then it seemed like
00:22:56Balin was in for him, but then
00:22:58Dorian was able to come back in at the end.
00:23:00I think there was just some confusion from fans
00:23:02how Dorian was able to come back
00:23:04into the game.
00:23:06Right, so Dorian was injured in the game,
00:23:08and so he wasn't available to us for a stretch.
00:23:10Probably the stretch everyone's...
00:23:12You're talking about here as well.
00:23:14Then he became available,
00:23:16so we put him back in the game there towards the end.
00:23:18Gotcha. Joe Brady.
00:23:20Obviously, this offense
00:23:2230-plus points a game
00:23:24over the last eight weeks.
00:23:26A lot has been going well
00:23:28in the run game and the pass game.
00:23:30How have you seen your
00:23:32offense really
00:23:34take advantage of
00:23:36what he's done as a play caller?
00:23:38Well, I think the biggest
00:23:40thing is
00:23:42getting as many people involved
00:23:44as possible without...
00:23:46While taking advantage of
00:23:48match-ups, Matt, but also
00:23:52not dictating the ball
00:23:54has to go to one person,
00:23:56and really allowing Josh to go through his
00:23:58progression
00:24:00and
00:24:02allowing Josh
00:24:04to feel the game.
00:24:06Whether he uses his legs, gets the ball
00:24:08out to an outlet, a check down,
00:24:10what have you. Really just executing
00:24:12the offense, if that makes sense
00:24:14to you.
00:24:16I think a great
00:24:18example of that point
00:24:20is you have Amari Cooper go for 14
00:24:22targets last week. He's not targeted
00:24:24one time this week.
00:24:26Is that kind of what makes it so hard
00:24:28to deal with the offense? Is that you
00:24:30can't plan for one specific thing
00:24:32to happen week in and week out?
00:24:34Agree.
00:24:36When you flip it around
00:24:38a little bit, you look at Detroit's offense
00:24:40and you go against two good backs. You go against
00:24:42good tight end, multiple
00:24:44receivers that have different skill
00:24:46sets. Other than
00:24:48St. Brown, some situations and
00:24:50things that you'd say, hey, we need to take away
00:24:52this player. That ball
00:24:54finds whomever it finds just through the progression
00:24:56and how the offense is rolling.
00:24:58I think it's really hard when
00:25:00you're operating on
00:25:02all cylinders to your point to
00:25:04really just hone in on one person.
00:25:06Last one. I know
00:25:08sometimes when things aren't going well for
00:25:10players, especially players with a lot of expectations,
00:25:12it can be hard to
00:25:14answer tough questions. I
00:25:16thought last week at Oliver,
00:25:18answered every single one.
00:25:20What did you see from him last week? Not just
00:25:22the performance in the game, but how he handled
00:25:24the adversity and responded.
00:25:26He's a stand-up guy.
00:25:28He really is. He's not that
00:25:30tall when he stands up, but he's a stand-up guy.
00:25:34Don't tell him I said that.
00:25:36I thought he played
00:25:38a heck of a game last night. I really did.
00:25:40It doesn't take a trained eye
00:25:42to be able to see that.
00:25:44Run game,
00:25:46in his gap, coming off the ball, getting off
00:25:48blocks, making plays.
00:25:50In the past game,
00:25:52certainly affecting the quarterback.
00:25:54That's
00:25:56what he's capable of, and that's what we need
00:25:58more of, quite honestly, on a more consistent
00:26:00basis. If you guys
00:26:02want to continue to
00:26:04piss him off during the week,
00:26:06have at it.
00:26:08Is that a new sweatshirt
00:26:10there? Does it say on there, Good News?
00:26:12Good News. I'm a big news guy.
00:26:14What's that about? No, Good News.
00:26:16Good News. It's actually
00:26:18part of our chaplains
00:26:20chapel sweatshirt that
00:26:22they give out to the
00:26:24guys that attend.
00:26:26Good News.
00:26:28Gotcha. Thanks, Sean.
00:26:30Sure.
00:26:32Hey, Sean. AJ Feldman here in Rochester.
00:26:34Thanks for taking the time. Yesterday,
00:26:36you said that you thought Josh Allen
00:26:38was playing the best football
00:26:40of his career.
00:26:42What do you think stands out right now
00:26:44among other things that Josh
00:26:46is doing well right now?
00:26:52You name it.
00:26:54He's in command of our offense,
00:26:56really. When you look up
00:26:58the
00:27:00word quarterback in a dictionary
00:27:02or what have you,
00:27:04that's how he's playing.
00:27:06The ball is going where it's supposed to go.
00:27:10He's moving us down the field.
00:27:12However we move down the field, he's moving us down the field
00:27:14getting the ball to the running backs
00:27:16when it needs to go to the running backs and the checkdowns,
00:27:18the screen gain,
00:27:20hitting the intermediate routes.
00:27:26He's very comfortable in the pocket,
00:27:28it seems, and he's seeing the game
00:27:30extremely well right now.
00:27:32With Allen being in the
00:27:34MVP conversation, all the points
00:27:36being scored, beating the Chiefs, beating the Lions,
00:27:38expectations are starting
00:27:40to mount. You talk a lot about your leadership
00:27:42group. What do you want to see from them this
00:27:44week and in the final weeks of the season
00:27:46as the team
00:27:48gets these added expectations placed
00:27:50on them?
00:27:52We control those. We control
00:27:54our expectations.
00:27:56What we really focus
00:27:58on is inside of our building.
00:28:00Certainly understand that when you win
00:28:02and when you win against teams like we beat,
00:28:04expectations increase.
00:28:06That's nothing new
00:28:08for us. It's
00:28:10better that way than the other way.
00:28:12We're fired up about
00:28:14being able to play this weekend
00:28:16at home in front of our fans. I feel like it's been
00:28:18a few weeks since we've been here
00:28:20and we get a chance to play in
00:28:22Orchard Park this coming Sunday
00:28:24in an afternoon game, 4 o'clock,
00:28:264.20, whatever it is.
00:28:28Hey, Coach, you spoke about
00:28:30Ed Oliver's performance yesterday.
00:28:32His performance with the addition
00:28:34of Dwayne Carter being healthy and DeJuan
00:28:36Smoot being back in the lineup. How can this
00:28:38group build off of yesterday's
00:28:40performance and by group, I mean just the
00:28:42defensive line as a whole?
00:28:44Good question. I really
00:28:46liked how they played in the run game,
00:28:48Maddie.
00:28:50Again, we had some really good
00:28:52rushes as well in the past game,
00:28:54especially when it turned to
00:28:56some early third downs. I thought
00:28:58later in the game, the connection
00:29:00of the rush and the coverage
00:29:02could have been better.
00:29:04The detail and things.
00:29:06But that's all growth for us. Again,
00:29:08we've had some pieces moving around there
00:29:10and guys coming back from injury,
00:29:12guys getting injured.
00:29:14I applaud the staff and the players
00:29:16for being resilient and working through it.
00:29:18The important piece is that we continue to improve
00:29:20in that area, for sure.
00:29:22And then on offense, just the group
00:29:24hitting their stride as a whole.
00:29:26How important is the run game
00:29:28to this offense being able to hit their
00:29:30stride at the right point in this season as
00:29:32you guys finish out the regular season?
00:29:34Right, that's huge.
00:29:36That's never taken for
00:29:38granted. It's earned every
00:29:40week with the mindset
00:29:42up front on both sides of the
00:29:44ball and Coach Cromer, Coach West
00:29:46and their assistants.
00:29:48Led by Connor
00:29:50and our defensive line
00:29:52as a group.
00:29:54It's something that's
00:29:56not taken for granted, as I mentioned,
00:29:58but so important to our success
00:30:00on offense and defense.
00:30:02Thanks, Coach.
00:30:04Hey,
00:30:06Sean, thanks for taking the time to chat with us.
00:30:08I appreciate it. I wanted to ask
00:30:10you something you were alluding to yesterday
00:30:12after the game.
00:30:14You come into that game and not only are you dealing
00:30:16with some injuries on the defensive side of the ball,
00:30:18but you're also preparing for a Lions team
00:30:20in a week where you had to practice
00:30:22virtually because of things that are just out of your
00:30:24control. Can you just take us
00:30:26into the resiliency
00:30:28of the team? I think it might be the word you
00:30:30used yesterday and what it takes from
00:30:32not only the guys in the locker room, but the
00:30:34people inside the building to be able to
00:30:36still prepare and try to get
00:30:38things done throughout the week
00:30:40and then in turn play a team like
00:30:42Detroit on Sunday.
00:30:44It adds an extra layer.
00:30:46There's no
00:30:48around it.
00:30:50Taking you back to last week,
00:30:52I think we got word that the
00:30:54storm was going to hit.
00:30:56I'm losing my track of my days here, but it
00:30:58was like Tuesday.
00:31:00We first really started getting
00:31:02serious about this storm coming in. All the
00:31:04while, we as coaches are
00:31:06trying to game plan.
00:31:08Just
00:31:10really our operations
00:31:12staff, Matt Worzik, my assistant,
00:31:14Eric Behan, Brendan
00:31:16Rowe, Ryan Moore, and many others started
00:31:18getting heavily
00:31:20involved in
00:31:22how this is all going to
00:31:24affect our week.
00:31:26Then
00:31:28the communication between myself
00:31:30and the coordinators of
00:31:32what each day might look like, what we need to
00:31:34tell the players, do we have the cafeteria
00:31:36make more food
00:31:38so players can take
00:31:40some food home in case we get stuck
00:31:42Thursday morning.
00:31:44There's a lot of
00:31:46connecting
00:31:48with the weather people locally
00:31:50that we can that know we feel like
00:31:52the best about how
00:31:54much to expect, when it's going to affect us.
00:31:56The thing that people
00:31:58I think some people don't realize is we have
00:32:00some young players here who have never
00:32:02experienced snow before growing up in
00:32:04Florida or maybe
00:32:06Texas or California.
00:32:08That's another safety
00:32:10issue altogether.
00:32:12We're just trying to put the players and
00:32:14the staff's safety first
00:32:16all the while trying to win a game.
00:32:20You want to say it's a delicate balance, but
00:32:22it really isn't a delicate balance when it comes to
00:32:24people's health and well-being.
00:32:26We tried to put that first.
00:32:28I think the players appreciated that.
00:32:30Some of us made it in
00:32:32on Thursday morning.
00:32:34We thought we'd be
00:32:36staying overnight Thursday
00:32:38night as well. Some did stay overnight Wednesday night.
00:32:40The coaches here as well.
00:32:44It happens where it's a
00:32:46long week and some unpredictability,
00:32:48but I thought the players and staff handled it
00:32:50extremely well.
00:32:52Appreciate it, Sean. Thank you for your time.
00:32:54Sure.
00:32:58Good afternoon,
00:33:00Head Coach Sean McDermott. George Radney,
00:33:02Challenger Community News. How are you doing this afternoon?
00:33:04I'm doing well, George. How are you?
00:33:06Great. I'm just wondering
00:33:08in yesterday's game, how would you
00:33:10assess your offensive line play?
00:33:12I thought it was very strong.
00:33:14I really did.
00:33:16Being able to control the line of scrimmage
00:33:18in the early part of the game was important
00:33:20for us.
00:33:22I thought our offensive line was up
00:33:24for the challenge, including our tight ends.
00:33:26We ask everyone to block in the run game
00:33:28here, Roger Sears included.
00:33:30They were
00:33:32set on being able to
00:33:34win that line of scrimmage early in the game.
00:33:36Absolutely.
00:33:38Was that Josh calling his own number?
00:33:40Was that purposely called?
00:33:42I was just wondering why he was running so much
00:33:44at the end. It worked to
00:33:46end the game, but just putting
00:33:48your quarterback in possible harm's way
00:33:50was winning. Was that
00:33:52set by design?
00:33:54It depends on which one you're
00:33:56talking about.
00:33:58Some of them were called
00:34:00others. Josh
00:34:02played
00:34:04football. He does
00:34:06what he does, so some
00:34:08of them were both.
00:34:12You make a good
00:34:14attorney.
00:34:16Very good.
00:34:20You've got to be politically correct.
00:34:22Absolutely.
00:34:24That's the perfect answer on that one.
00:34:26For sure.
00:34:28When you guys prepare for now,
00:34:30you've got two home games, you've got divisional games
00:34:32coming up. How do you
00:34:34now get everybody back?
00:34:36You really
00:34:38had two high national
00:34:40televised games, and now you have
00:34:42lower profile. They still mean the same
00:34:44amount, but how do you get them
00:34:46back to being focused for
00:34:48this next opponent?
00:34:50I think we picked up a scar
00:34:52from that L.A. game,
00:34:54quite honestly, and coming off of
00:34:56two emotional wins,
00:34:58clinching the division five weeks ahead
00:35:00of time, and I think we
00:35:02picked up a scar right there. Sometimes scars
00:35:04are good for you if
00:35:06you continue to see them on your face.
00:35:08It's a good reminder of what not
00:35:10to do, and sometimes you're able to live
00:35:12longer lives when you have those scars.
00:35:14Absolutely. Thank you very much
00:35:16for your time, and good luck this coming Sunday.
00:35:18Thanks, George. Good to see you.
00:35:20That's all we have for you today, Coach.
00:35:22Thanks, guys.
00:52:28If you have a question, please raise your hand.
00:52:36This is going to be hard.
00:52:40There you go.
00:52:42John.
00:52:46Thanks.
00:52:48Sorry.
00:52:50I could have given you an easy day.
00:52:52Everybody seems to be talking about this Josh Allen guy.
00:52:57What is it, I mean, just what is it about him that you see as we go through
00:53:04this run that he's had and what he's capable of and what more can he be
00:53:09capable of after what he's done the past three weeks, never mind this season?
00:53:16Yeah, I mean, look, he's as special as they come, right?
00:53:22When Josh Allen playing quarterback, he does things that the game doesn't see.
00:53:28And that's why I think across the league, there's so
00:53:30many great quarterbacks that it's a great era.
00:53:33And I think we live in a day and age that we just wanna compare and critique and
00:53:38find issues in all of these quarterbacks as opposed to just appreciating
00:53:42the greatness and their special talents.
00:53:45And I mean, calling plays for a guy like Josh,
00:53:47I mean, there's so many times you call the play.
00:53:49And I feel like before I'm calling the next play, I'm just communicating to him
00:53:52just how impressive that was or whatnot.
00:53:56But yeah, I mean, he's locked in, he gets to the game, he's prepared.
00:54:04He has a fine line of making sure that he's loose with the guys,
00:54:08has a great pulse of the locker room.
00:54:09And knowing how to, hey, he's gonna be ready to go when the guys follow him.
00:54:14And he understands that the only thing he cares about is finding ways to win
00:54:17football games.
00:54:17And I think our team kind of embodies that as well because of him.
00:54:21Do you start incorporating the chest pass into your game plan?
00:54:27Yeah, we actually work at every single day at Indy.
00:54:29And so that when those do happen, now it's one of those things that you
00:54:33incorporate, we'll do it in Indy this week so that when we go to a clinic one day,
00:54:36we can see here's us practicing it, here's what happened in the game.
00:54:39But no, I mean, that's him, right?
00:54:42He throws passes to himself and then he can chest pass and we'll see what's next.
00:54:47But he's having a lot of fun playing out there.
00:54:49He's in great control, great command, all the confidence in the world in him and
00:54:52why not, and having a lot of fun.
00:54:55And you can see that, and we gotta just continue to find ways to get better.
00:55:00Thanks so much, Joe.
00:55:01Thanks, John.
00:55:05Hi, coach, congratulations to you.
00:55:07Thanks, Al.
00:55:09I wanna ask you a little bit about the running backs overall,
00:55:12not just the run game.
00:55:13I mean-
00:55:18Wash yourself.
00:55:22You're muted.
00:55:23Sorry, I think we had a little communication there.
00:55:26Sorry about that.
00:55:26Congratulations, coach, to you.
00:55:27Thanks, coach.
00:55:28I wanna ask you about the running backs, not just the running game.
00:55:31I mean, incorporating them in the passing game, especially a guy like Ty Johnson.
00:55:35It seems like he can just kind of do everything for you.
00:55:37How much flexibility does that give you on a down to down basis to know you have
00:55:42these three guys who can do so many things?
00:55:45Yeah, I think going into this offseason and obviously Ty being this last year,
00:55:51I think credit to Bean and Sean putting the roster together with the mindset of
00:55:56on any given play, as long as the defense has to know that they have to respect
00:55:59everybody on the field and that anybody can get the football.
00:56:02And then when it comes to our running backs, knowing that no matter we have Jimbo,
00:56:07whether we have Ray, whether we have Ty in the game, it could be a run,
00:56:09it could be a pass, they all can be in protection.
00:56:12The ball can go to him, they're not just a pass play, and
00:56:15they're just like kind of a decoy or an outlet.
00:56:17And a day like yesterday, just seeing a guy like Ty Johnson make the most of
00:56:21his opportunities with the matchups that he was given, and it just shows that
00:56:27on any given day, it could be anybody's game.
00:56:29And yesterday, Ty made the most of his opportunities and
00:56:32should he's done it for the last couple weeks and that's kind of who he is and
00:56:35stays consistent with it and just has all the trust in any of those guys.
00:56:41And you see that in the way that they played yesterday,
00:56:43it allows us to continue to be two dimensional with our running backs and
00:56:48makes life a lot easier for us.
00:56:50What was Thursday like for you with all the virtual stuff going on?
00:56:55And did you, I mean,
00:56:56does it give you a chance to even maybe cook up a little bit more in the lab?
00:56:59Do you have to be a little weary of that, not doing that,
00:57:02because you're not in practice?
00:57:03What was that like for you?
00:57:05Yeah, to me, I mean, it was a normal day for us.
00:57:08I told the guys coming in the week at the end of the day,
00:57:12let's just put the ball down, let's just go play football.
00:57:15And we're at this point in the season that that's kind of where we were at.
00:57:19And it kind of fed into it,
00:57:21didn't know that we weren't gonna be able to practice, but it kind of went with it.
00:57:24Got on the Zoom with the guys, it was like, hey, we know the plays,
00:57:27we'll go out there and execute, and whether we have to practice or not,
00:57:29we'll be ready to go, and the guys didn't blink.
00:57:32And again, another week, I'm gonna talk about their character, but
00:57:35it kind of shows that we're not gonna be distracted, that there's a goal,
00:57:38there's a focus, and they're gonna prepare.
00:57:40And then on game day, we're gonna let them play, and
00:57:42they're having a lot of fun doing it.
00:57:44But for us, it was just, it was another Thursday.
00:57:46I just, unfortunately, I didn't get to spend some time with the guys.
00:57:49I got to speak to myself on Zoom.
00:57:52All right, Coach, thanks.
00:57:59Good afternoon, Coach George Radney, Challenger Community News.
00:58:04How are you doing today?
00:58:05Doing well, how are you doing, George?
00:58:07Doing all right, Coach.
00:58:08And I'm wondering, what is it about the motion that seems to be working?
00:58:13I see a lot of teams starting to use it more, but it seems it really has
00:58:18been very successful with your offensive game plan for the Bills.
00:58:22What is it specifically about motion that, what does it do to a defense?
00:58:28Look, I think it's for every defense that it impacts them differently.
00:58:31And I think you're not just motioning to motion.
00:58:36There has to be an intent with why you're motioning and
00:58:38what you're trying to gain with it.
00:58:40In some plays, it might just be an ID purposes.
00:58:42Some games, it might be, or some plays, it might be for leverage or
00:58:47just to create maybe a split second of indecision for a defensive player.
00:58:52And some games, it's easier to do it at home than it is on the road.
00:58:55And there's a lot of things that kind of go with it.
00:58:57But I think as much as you're just moving and being able to communicate to
00:59:02the quarterback without having to communicate to the quarterback,
00:59:05it allows him to kind of see things.
00:59:07And it makes the defense sometimes have to kind of show their hand a little bit.
00:59:10And it's a chess match as it goes all games because they know we're motioning.
00:59:15And so sometimes they'll hold it and whatnot.
00:59:17But I think as long as there's intent and the quarterback and the receivers and
00:59:22everybody understand what they're looking at when they're motion and
00:59:24why they're motioning, we try to do a good job of explaining that.
00:59:28Then we feel like it can be utilized to our advantage.
00:59:31And is that kind of what happened with Ty Johnson?
00:59:32It seemed like during the live game, the person responsible,
00:59:36the linebacker responsible for covering always seemed to look in.
00:59:39And by the time they turned around,
00:59:40Ty was already farther down the field trying to get open.
00:59:43And is that some of the things that you see on film in a given week against
00:59:48a different team?
00:59:51Yeah, I think any time that you can get, whether it's a DB, a linebacker,
00:59:56a corner to freeze their feet for an extra second or have to get dirty eyes and
01:00:01see something that maybe they shouldn't have to see in the game of football.
01:00:06That's you, you might be open and you might be open and
01:00:08might be covered in a second later.
01:00:10And so you gotta take advantage of those things.
01:00:12And I can't say all those plays with Ty had anything to do with motion or not,
01:00:17but Ty just making a lot of plays and Josh and Ty making plays.
01:00:21But we had some opportunities that we can utilize it where there was a shift or
01:00:26motion to our advantage and the guys made the most of it.
01:00:30All right, thank you very much for your time.
01:00:31Good luck next coming, this coming Sunday.
01:00:33Thank you, Josh.
01:00:34Hey, Joe, with Josh, I know it's December, part of his game and
01:00:39we talked about it over the years as a runner, he's gonna take hits.
01:00:44I mean, that's kind of part of it.
01:00:46But in a game like that where he takes a couple and
01:00:48then he goes to the x-ray room after the game.
01:00:51What does that do for you as like his offensive coordinator in terms of what
01:00:55you have to do week in and week out to do your best to try to keep him healthy?
01:00:59Yeah, I mean, whenever Josh has ever banged up after a game,
01:01:03regardless of like he's always taking hits and I love it when he's not.
01:01:07But anytime that he has to, whether he do anything and obviously he's all good now.
01:01:13But just the fact that they have to take him away,
01:01:15there's no joy in the victory for me, that's for sure.
01:01:18And so obviously I gotta do a better job of just making sure he's not getting
01:01:24And so obviously I gotta do a better job of just making sure he's not taking hits.
01:01:30And he has to protect himself and he's doing a good job of that.
01:01:33And we got to do a better job on some scrambles.
01:01:36And so he's not taking some of the hits that he is and my play call can be better.
01:01:40So just knowing that he's gonna make plays with his feet.
01:01:45And so I think it all comes full circle with it.
01:01:49But I know games on the line like he's gonna go try to make some football plays.
01:01:53And when the ball's in his hands, good things happen.
01:01:55So it's a fine line that you fight.
01:01:57And I think he's doing a really good job of protecting himself this year.
01:02:00But there is some instances every game that I probably get to play him late.
01:02:05So I'm making sure he gets up and that's never a good feeling.
01:02:07If you're talking about people that have been in this organization since Sean got
01:02:13here, I think Kelly Skipper goes back about as far as anybody.
01:02:18Doesn't talk a lot, doesn't get a lot of pub outside the building.
01:02:24But from your perspective, what is he meant to not only the running game, but
01:02:29your team and your offense?
01:02:31Hearing Ty and Ray and James talk about him,
01:02:34it seems like he's just highly regarded inside the building.
01:02:37He is, yeah, we love Skip.
01:02:40And we have very talented running backs, don't get me wrong.
01:02:43But they're prepared when they go into a football game.
01:02:46They're coached extremely well, all the details, the focus,
01:02:49the intent, ball in the right arm.
01:02:51I don't want to take the credit away from those guys, but
01:02:54they're coached really well.
01:02:55And Skip has a great pulse of understanding who his guys are,
01:02:58how to communicate with them.
01:02:59He has a great personality, he's loose, and the guys love him here.
01:03:04And there's not a person in this building that doesn't enjoy Skip.
01:03:08And that's what I get to work with.
01:03:10And that's why I love being able to come to work because I got a bunch of those
01:03:14guys on staff that the guys love.
01:03:16They love playing for our coaches here, and it makes life a lot easier.
01:03:19And you can see that with how they play.
01:03:20And it's just gotta continue taking steps with that running back room.
01:03:24Skip does an incredible job with them.
01:03:26Is he one of those guys that when you just get in a room with him,
01:03:30you can't shut him up?
01:03:31Because I don't think I've ever heard him say five or
01:03:33six words in seven years.
01:03:34It's a great question.
01:03:38I don't know, maybe you gotta get in a room and see.
01:03:41But Skip's one of the funniest guys I've been around.
01:03:44And, but he understands, he's an incredible football coach.
01:03:49Obviously, it's in his family, and we're fortunate to have him.
01:03:54And our running backs are, the way that they're playing right there is
01:03:59a reflection of him for sure.
01:04:01Last quick one, because I only see one hand up, sorry, Matty.
01:04:05Amari Cooper, 14 targets last week, then none this week.
01:04:11I'm sure he took that in stride and as unselfish as anybody in the locker room.
01:04:17But how hard is it for defenses to defend you guys when you have such a crazy,
01:04:22drastic shift from week to week in who is really, I don't wanna say featured,
01:04:27but making plays in your offense?
01:04:30Yeah, obviously, I would love to get Coop some more targets and
01:04:36get him some completions with the ball in his hands.
01:04:39Had some opportunities that, whether it's better play calling or
01:04:44design that can get him the ball, right?
01:04:46He's too good of a football player.
01:04:47But part of what we're kind of going for here is, with what you're saying is,
01:04:52hey, as long as where you can go to game to game, and it shouldn't be that drastic.
01:04:57But you add in a Keon Coleman, you add in a Dalton Kincaid,
01:05:00some targets are gonna get pushed around.
01:05:01And we talked about the everyone eats kind of vibe here.
01:05:06And it's more of a mindset, if you saw Coop in the game after the locker room,
01:05:10he's smiling, having a good time.
01:05:11Just you see him run into the football and chasing, helping guys up.
01:05:15And it's not about the targets, the catches.
01:05:18It's about finding ways to win football games.
01:05:20And I think our guys are embracing that.
01:05:22And they know that, hey, come this week, it could be 14 targets again.
01:05:26And he's gonna be ready for it.
01:05:27And our guys are all prepared for if it's gonna be their game,
01:05:30take advantage of it.
01:05:31And Josh has all the trust in everybody that he's just going through the
01:05:33progressions, and people take that gaze away.
01:05:35If they wanna double Coop or lean towards Coop, that he'll progress.
01:05:40And Coop's been a huge addition to us.
01:05:43He's made our team better, and we're better when we're out on the football field.
01:05:46I gotta do a better job of getting the ball in his hands, cuz he helps us.
01:05:50But I love how Josh is just playing within the system, and trusting the guys
01:05:54that are out there, and doesn't feel like he's forcing anything,
01:05:56and allowing the game to come to him.
01:06:00Thanks, Joe, appreciate it.
01:06:00Hey, Joe, you've talked about Josh Allen,
01:06:02how he had a great game this past week, and the week before.
01:06:05And just talking about the offense as a whole, and guys really honing in on
01:06:09whatever their roles are gonna be, and are happy to be in those roles.
01:06:12Why do you think this offense is really hitting its stride,
01:06:15has hit its stride over the last few weeks?
01:06:19Yeah, I think the guys are understanding that we have to find ways to continue.
01:06:26I mean, I like to say we're hitting our stride, but
01:06:28we gotta continue to find ways to get better.
01:06:30And fortunately, we know we're gonna be playing in the playoffs, but
01:06:35we gotta be playing our best football when we're going to the playoffs.
01:06:38And if our best football is in these last two weeks,
01:06:40then we're not gonna get to where we wanna get to.
01:06:42And so I think the guys have, there's a chemistry in the locker room.
01:06:48The guys love being around each other.
01:06:50There's a starch with our quarterback, there's a selfless mindset.
01:06:55And the guys really don't care about anything besides winning.
01:07:00And so whatever the roles is on that particular play,
01:07:04they care more about that.
01:07:05And care more about that person, hey, if I gotta run it, open it up for
01:07:10this guy to get this catch, man, I'm gonna do it for him cuz I love him.
01:07:12And then in return, hey, the next play, I'll get him.
01:07:16And you see that from the guys, you see that how they play.
01:07:18And I think that that's why it's not about the plays, it's not about the scheme.
01:07:22It's all about all the other things.
01:07:24We try to harp on that, but I hope we're gonna continue.
01:07:27I know we're gonna have to find ways to continue to get better,
01:07:29to get to where ultimately we wanna get to.
01:07:31And our guys have that mindset, they're not satisfied.
01:07:33We haven't played our best football.
01:07:35You spoke about that selfless mindset.
01:07:37And if there's a group that has a selfless mindset, it's the offensive line.
01:07:42Because they don't get recognized for a lot all the time,
01:07:45obviously, because the offense has been playing so well.
01:07:48They are getting recognition.
01:07:49But what have you seen from that group over the last few weeks?
01:07:53I mean, I think when you look at some of the hits that Josh has taken,
01:07:57he's leaving the pocket and scrambling doing it.
01:08:01They're keeping him clean.
01:08:02They are playing together as five, and they're playing confident.
01:08:07And you saw yesterday, we were able to be two-dimensional because of those guys.
01:08:11And look, we have the best player in the world at quarterback.
01:08:15But when our offensive line is playing together, they set the tone,
01:08:19we go as they go.
01:08:20And we're able to run the ball and pass the ball.
01:08:22Josh is able to do the things that he does because of our offensive line.
01:08:25And the communication, especially playing in an environment like that,
01:08:29they're so selfless.
01:08:30But they're the first guys helping each other up after runs,
01:08:33celebrate with the guys in the end zone.
01:08:34They know that they don't get the credit.
01:08:35But when we win, everybody gets the credit, and
01:08:40everyone's gonna show them the love that they get.
01:08:42And we got two elite all-pro tackles that set the edge.
01:08:47And we got all of our bulk inside that allows Josh to be comfortable in the
01:08:51pocket, and we wouldn't want anybody else.
01:08:54And I love those guys, and we go as they go.
01:08:58Thanks, Joe.
01:09:01Hey, Joe, John Worrell again.
01:09:02I just had a quick follow-up about the chest pass.
01:09:05You were talking about Indy when we go to Indy.
01:09:08Is that what you said, or I missed that?
01:09:11No, that was a joke saying I probably should get RC to kind of put that in his
01:09:17Indy drills, an individual.
01:09:18Gotcha.
01:09:19But then when he goes in clinics, he can be like, hey,
01:09:21here's me coaching Josh Allen.
01:09:23And then here's Josh doing it in the games, makes us look like better coaches.
01:09:26But no, I wish we could say that's just a baller being a baller.
01:09:30I'm telling you.
01:09:32Gotcha.
01:09:33No, I just wanted to clarify that it was Indy and not independent, not Indy.
01:09:38Yeah, Indy, sorry, individual period practice.
01:09:41Gotcha, thank you.
01:09:44That's all we have for you today, coach.
01:09:45Thank you for your time.
01:09:46Appreciate you guys.
01:12:49Hey, coach, hope your day is going well today.
01:13:14How are you?
01:13:15I'm good, thank you.
01:13:17If you're ready, we'll go ahead and get started with questions.
01:13:19Matt Perino will have our first question.
01:13:26Hey, Bobby, how are you?
01:13:27Matt, how are you?
01:13:28Good.
01:13:28I'm good.
01:13:30At Oliver, a lot of noise last week.
01:13:33I told Sean, I thought a lot of times when players face tough questions,
01:13:38it's easy to have short answers.
01:13:40He stood there, he answered every single one of them.
01:13:42What did you see from him last week in the way that he took ownership and then
01:13:46the way that he played and responded?
01:13:48Yeah, I think every season is different for every player.
01:13:53And no past season has anything to do with any season moving forward.
01:14:02And that's game by game and all those things.
01:14:05And I think what you just saw was Ed was at Oliver.
01:14:10And he found his rhythm.
01:14:13He found his flow, and he got in it, and it helped us.
01:14:21Sean said last week that when asked why Kier Elam hadn't been active for
01:14:27a few weeks, he said everything's earned.
01:14:29And Kier talked about it last week and
01:14:32said he's doing everything he could do to get ready to play.
01:14:36What did he do to earn that opportunity?
01:14:38And then how did you feel like he did?
01:14:42Yeah, I thought Kier did some good things.
01:14:45I thought he did some good things.
01:14:46Obviously, every player, you guys know when I sit here,
01:14:48every player's got things to improve on.
01:14:50But Kier's been working at practice, working in meetings, and all those things.
01:14:58And we talk about work while you wait.
01:14:59He's been working while he waits.
01:15:00And you can only be ready for when your opportunity comes.
01:15:04And like I said, there were some things he did really well and
01:15:07some things that he could improve on.
01:15:09And that's every player that played yesterday.
01:15:13So just went through our process like we always do and
01:15:16got his opportunity, went in there and did some good things.
01:15:20Thanks, Bobby, appreciate it.
01:15:20I got it.
01:15:22Hey, Bobby, when you look at the numbers, right?
01:15:30It's not what a defensive coordinator thinks of, allow 500 passing yards or
01:15:34whatever it is, but you got the win.
01:15:36And you had three guys out of the secondary, the guys who played,
01:15:39didn't allow big plays over the top.
01:15:41I'm sure they did a lot of what you wanted them to do.
01:15:43How do you as a defensive coordinator kind of reconcile that?
01:15:46Of course, there's a lot more that goes into it than the numbers.
01:15:48But when you look at it, you say, everything kind of, to me,
01:15:51it seemed like you accomplished what you wanted to accomplish.
01:15:53But you also have these big numbers on that side of the ledger.
01:15:55How do you reconcile?
01:15:56Yeah, that's a great question, Sal.
01:15:58And I think the way you look at it is this.
01:15:59You really look at it through the first quarter through,
01:16:04I believe it was somewhere around a minute 30 left in the third quarter.
01:16:09We gave up the explosive on the third and long, which certainly there's,
01:16:13I can put them in better position and there's things we can do better within
01:16:16that play to limit that, even if they converted, you know what I'm saying?
01:16:19And after that, it really kind of, the game started to fluctuate and
01:16:24it was finding what they wanted to do.
01:16:31Get our players in the best situations possible and
01:16:35manage that with the players that were in the game too.
01:16:38You know what I mean?
01:16:39And trying to put our players in the best position possible.
01:16:43So I talked about going into that third quarter with about a minute and
01:16:45a half left.
01:16:47And then the fourth quarter turned into what it turned into.
01:16:52We know they're an explosive offense and certainly,
01:16:55certainly I can put our guys in some better positions.
01:17:00Do some things a little differently, but that's how I discern that game.
01:17:09So obviously, we can't allow a team in a two minute passing situation to go up and
01:17:14down the field on us, we can't do that.
01:17:16And that starts with me and so that's the way I'd look at it, Sal,
01:17:21from what I talked about to that past that point in the game.
01:17:26So I guess is it more about, it's not about the totality of the numbers.
01:17:29Those are gonna happen.
01:17:30It's more about the moments, right?
01:17:32And the situations, correct?
01:17:34That's right.
01:17:34That's right.
01:17:35That's exactly right.
01:17:37It's a fine line between being aggressive, and aggressive enough,
01:17:43and all those type of things, and how you wanna defend that situation.
01:17:48You know what I'm saying?
01:17:48Yeah. And certainly that was a unique game.
01:17:51And like I said before, everything falls on me.
01:17:56And obviously, past that point in the third quarter,
01:17:59there's some things that I feel like I could do better.
01:18:02And then, so Cole, the last time we'd see him was in Houston.
01:18:04You have the big play over the top to Nico.
01:18:06There's some miscommunication there.
01:18:08Can you tell us what you saw from his growth from that game to this game?
01:18:12Yeah, it was tremendous.
01:18:14There's still a lot of room for improvement with him.
01:18:17But he played confident.
01:18:18He played more physical.
01:18:20And it was fun to see Cole take a next step, and
01:18:25have the opportunity to take that next step, and how he handled it.
01:18:29And that's a credit to Joe, Dana, having him ready to go.
01:18:34Specifically, with not a lot of practice in there.
01:18:37He's obviously been practicing and getting reps throughout the year.
01:18:40But you really wish you had three days of practice for his situation.
01:18:48But handled it great.
01:18:49There were some things in there, like I said before, that he did really well, and
01:18:53some things that we need to continue to grow on.
01:18:54But it was good to see.
01:18:56All right, thanks, coach.
01:18:57You got it.
01:19:00Hey, Bobby, I was curious, following up on that,
01:19:03what was this week kind of like for you, preparing without the normal practices?
01:19:07And then knowing that you were gonna be without a couple guys, and
01:19:10a couple other guys being out,
01:19:11what was this week kind of like for you, preparing for this game?
01:19:15Yeah, Laina, it's a good question.
01:19:17So it was interesting.
01:19:21Coming off of the previous game, before the Lions game,
01:19:28there was definitely things we knew we needed to get improved, and things like
01:19:31that, we wanted to focus on those in the time we had available.
01:19:37And then our expectation is that any player that goes in is gonna perform at
01:19:42a high level and at our standard.
01:19:44And so when it came to new players and all those things, yeah,
01:19:47you have an idea of the players and what you can do, and who's available,
01:19:51based off different things you wanna do, packages and those type of things.
01:19:56But it was an interesting week, that's for sure.
01:19:58But we've dealt with those weeks before here.
01:20:00We're in Buffalo.
01:20:01We know what this time of year looks like, so we're ready for anything.
01:20:06And then I just wanted to follow up on Kair, too.
01:20:09Coming into the game, what was he doing in practice, or
01:20:12the last few weeks when he was inactive,
01:20:15that made you feel like he had earned this start?
01:20:18Yeah, he just continued to work, like I talked about before.
01:20:20He continued to work, and obviously,
01:20:24Rasul being down last week, that gave an opportunity, and he got his opportunity.
01:20:29And did a pretty dang good job.
01:20:32I know you talked about Ed already, but
01:20:34the defensive line as a whole, getting a couple guys back for this game,
01:20:37did you feel like that helped, that was a boost?
01:20:39How'd you kind of look at how they performed?
01:20:41Yeah, absolutely.
01:20:42I think anytime you get some of your guys back, it absolutely helps.
01:20:48And it was good to see all those guys contribute and
01:20:52be able to help us in the victory.
01:20:55So, anytime you get some of the players that you had leaned on before,
01:21:00back from injury, it doesn't matter the position, it definitely helps.
01:21:03Thanks, Bobby.
01:21:04You got it, Elena.
01:21:07Hey, Bobby, continuing with the defensive line,
01:21:09how can you guys build off of that performance last week?
01:21:13Now that you have healthier guys, and
01:21:16the defensive line is back to being fully healthy,
01:21:18how do you build off of last night's performance?
01:21:22Yeah, I think the biggest thing is we stay in the process that we know for us works.
01:21:27And anything that, I tell the guys all the time,
01:21:31anything that you think has worked for you within that routine,
01:21:37that process, whatever you wanna call it, bottle that up.
01:21:41Bottle that up and make sure you store it and take it with you.
01:21:45And no matter the opponent, no matter the week of the season,
01:21:51once we find our groove, we need to stay in that groove, and it's very important.
01:21:56And I think it's just, don't change too much.
01:22:03Don't change too much, just stay with what's worked.
01:22:05What is essential to staying in the right groove as you guys finish out the regular
01:22:10season and push into the playoffs?
01:22:12Yeah, you know what, that's a good question, because I think that
01:22:17there's areas in our game right now that we need to get a lot better at.
01:22:20And I think there's areas in our game that, like I said before,
01:22:24we need to bottle up and take with us.
01:22:26And I think it's a heavy dose of emphasizing what we know has worked for
01:22:34us, and then also emphasizing what we know that isn't working for us right now.
01:22:42And we gotta do a good job of identifying those, both ends of the spectrum.
01:22:48And build on one and strengthen the other.
01:22:52Thanks, Bobby.
01:22:54You got it.
01:22:55That's all we have for you today, coach.
01:22:57Thank you for your time.
01:22:58You got it, thank you.
