00:04House Speaker Martin Ruimualdez urged the government

00:08to form a mega-task force

00:23that there are those who are involved in bribery and price manipulation of rice.

00:27Even if there is an oversupply and the price of the rice is being lowered,

00:33the Department of Agriculture, Department of Justice,

00:38and other government agencies can form the so-called task force.

00:41Ruimualdez urged the government

00:43to give it the power to carry out an inventory,

00:47to find out if it follows the law on exportation,

00:51to inspect the warehouse,

00:53and to shut down the temporary traders.

00:56The House Speaker also urged the task force to submit a monthly report to the Congress

01:02as part of their oversight.

01:04According to Speaker Ruimualdez,

01:06there is a so-called betrayal of public trust

01:09regarding the issue of the Kinta Committee,

01:11so it should be acted on immediately.

01:14They will not allow this anomaly to continue.
