00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. gave an early warning to our women victims of abuse.

00:07Aside from the warning material, the President gave hope to our women who experienced a severe trial.

00:14Isaiah Mirafuente is the center of the news.

00:19This 16-year-old boy that we are going to hide under the name of Princess.

00:24At his young age, he experienced using illegal drugs.

00:30Last year, when he was arrested.

00:33I have a problem because of my family, that's why I was involved in drugs.

00:38His parents separated and his mother married someone else.

00:44But to his new wife, his mother, he will taste the bitter part of his life.

00:51She always scolds him and says painful words.

00:56I was being beaten by my mother.

01:01She told me that we can't live without her and I can't study.

01:07That's why I thought of rebelling.

01:10He is one of the children that President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. visited.

01:15The President visited Marilac Hills and the Haven National Center for Women in Muntinlupa.

01:21These are the homes of young women who experienced abuse.

01:27And some of them committed adultery at their young age.

01:32I am a Senator and I am a civilian.

01:36I come here because when I come here, I always smile.

01:41He gave Christmas gifts.

01:44So that the sadness of the children will be alleviated.

01:49When I came here today, I really felt Christmas.

01:54I can see it on your faces.

01:57When the President arrived, the children danced and sang.

02:02Marilac Hills was built during the time of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

02:09This is a project of his mother, former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos.

02:14We are happy because when the President looks at the poor,

02:22especially the children who are abandoned,

02:26it means that he is a good person, right?

02:28The President started visiting the area since 2017.

02:32Every year, aside from the pandemic, he gives gifts to the children.

02:38In his message, the President reminds us that Christmas continues despite the trials that we are going through.

02:45Even if we are hit by a typhoon, even if we are burned in different places,

02:54no matter what, we all believe that all Filipinos,

03:00especially the children, should be able to feel Christmas.

03:09The Filipino Christmas will not be affected by any typhoon,

03:13and there will be no defeat in the Christmas of the Philippines.
