00:15Sa i-dinaos ng Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas,

00:21ipinaliwanag ng Pangulo na ito'y upang mabigyan na mas maraming oportunidad ang mga Pilipino at hindi na kailangan pang magtrabaho sa ibang bansa.

00:30Kabilang sa mga ginagawa niya ng gobyerno ay ang pagpapatibay sa labor agreements, kampanya laban sa ilegal na recruitment at trafficking,

00:39at iba't ibang programa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan.

00:44Our dream is to one day make overseas work a choice rather than a necessity.

00:51We continue to implement reforms in governance and economic development to provide our people with opportunities here at home.

00:59However, we are in a globalized world and talents will continue to move from one border to another.

01:07Annually, millions of people move across international borders to work.

01:12And so against this backdrop, the Philippines remains committed to ensuring that the rights and well-being of our overseas Filipinos and their families

01:21are safeguarded at all times wherever they may be.

01:25We are strengthening our labor agreements with other countries, conducting aggressive campaigns against illegal recruitment and trafficking,

01:33mobilizing the agarang kalinga at Saklolo para sa mga overseas Filipino workers na nangangailangan fund,

01:41keeping our government communication lines open to migrant workers through the One Repatriation Command Center,

01:49and facilitating the safe repatriation of OFWs who are affected by conflicts or calamities.

01:56Our embassies and consulates abroad remain vigilant in looking after our people wherever they may be in the world.

02:04DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia called on the leaders of the LGU to immediately respond to the needs of residents who are affected by the volcano eruption.

02:15According to Secretary Cremulia, among them are the agarang pagsusping din ng klase,
