00:00:03And by the way, the biggest headline is three games on Thanksgiving Day.

00:00:06Now, look, maybe they're not the best games.

00:00:09Maybe the worst game of the day is the one right where you sit down and eat your turkey dinner

00:00:12and watch the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.

00:00:15But that doesn't mean we have topics to talk about to get you fired up.

00:00:17And we will have action tomorrow and Thursday, no doubt about it.

00:00:21The question here, one of the bigger ones, Aaron Rodgers.

00:00:24Well, he doesn't play on Thanksgiving Day.

00:00:25He's always in the news.

00:00:27He's playing terrible football on a terrible Jets team.

00:00:30And now it comes out, Dubsy, as he talked to Pat McAfee and goes,

00:00:34I haven't told anybody who I want to play for next year or what I want to do.

00:00:38And I think I can speak for Jets fans right now, like speak the lingo.

00:00:42I don't think Jets fans give a damn what Aaron Rodgers wants to do next year.

00:00:47And if you probably poll Jets fans, even with the salary cap implications,

00:00:52I don't think they even want Aaron Rodgers around.

00:00:54So the best part about it is Aaron Rodgers actually thinks he controls

00:00:57what's going to happen next year.

00:00:58And if he wants to lead, Dubsy, he's going to let the Jets know,

00:01:01ah, I'm going to San Francisco because they don't want to pay Brock Purdy.

00:01:04That's what I'll do.

00:01:05Man, this guy is in the news every week playing bad football on a bad team.

00:01:10Dubsy, what gives?

00:01:11I can't stand it, Donnie.

00:01:13And to make the comparison, this will be like the drunk cousin

00:01:16who comes over for lunch at Thanksgiving.

00:01:18He arrives drunk and he leaves even drunker.

00:01:21He's saying all the wrong things.

00:01:23He's upsetting everyone.

00:01:24And once he leaves out the front door, you're thinking,

00:01:27why did we invite this guy?

00:01:28Didn't we go through this last season?

00:01:30I cannot stand the carry-on, Donnie.

00:01:33They've got to move on from Aaron Rodgers.

00:01:35It's been an absolute disaster.

00:01:38He's so full of himself.

00:01:39He's ruined the locker room.

00:01:41He's brought in all the bits and pieces that he thought could make this thing work.

00:01:45It hasn't worked.

00:01:45They're one of the worst teams in the National Football League.

00:01:48And you look at the numbers and the metrics he's putting up.

00:01:51I mean, he's looked good at times, but he's also looked that he's 40 years of age.

00:01:56I mean, he is really holding this thing back.

00:01:59And, you know, I know sometimes it's tough to move on from a bad beat,

00:02:03but this has been a bad beat of the highest order for the New York Jets.

00:02:07The experiment, the test, the campaign of Aaron Rodgers playing for the Jets.

00:02:12We saw it last season.

00:02:13It didn't work out.

00:02:13They gave it a 2.0, another chance.

00:02:16They've done everything in their power to listen to him of what it would take,

00:02:20of what it would mean to win for this program, for this organization.

00:02:24It hasn't happened, Donnie.

00:02:25Cannot stand it.

00:02:26I've seen enough.

00:02:28Like, again, the quote, which sort of makes me laugh.

00:02:40Does he understand how contracts work in the NFL and the Jets go,

00:02:44if we want you to play for us, that's your option and your only option here.

00:02:48And also, somebody trading for Aaron Rodgers.

00:02:50A conditional seventh-round pick that can turn into a sixth if he plays well?

00:02:54Like, nobody wants Aaron Rodgers at that price tag and his baggage right now.

00:02:59I'd even take Tommy DeVito right now, who's not even 100% ready or healthy to play Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys.

00:03:06So, my opinion here, Tommy DeVito didn't look all that great here.

00:03:10And what did we expect against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, right?

00:03:12Should they go to Drew Locke in this spot or let Tommy DeVito play, I guess, where he's not even healthy?

00:03:17What are the Giants doing out here, Dobs?

00:03:20I mean, let's put it this way.

00:03:21Tommy DeVito is not a great quarterback.

00:03:24I hate to be that guy.

00:03:25I love Tommy Cutlets.

00:03:26I'd love to catch up with the player agent, the manager, after the game.

00:03:30But he's not good enough to play.

00:03:32He's not good enough to play when he's banged up and injured.

00:03:35I don't think you're going to lose a lot by throwing Drew Locke into the fire.

00:03:45So, going against the Cowboys, I mean, this is going to be an absolute pillow fight.

00:03:50Cooper Rush is going to look like a fantastic quarterback going against Tommy DeVito.

00:03:54So, I expect DeVito will be good to go for this one.

00:04:34Like Shaquille Barrett coming back to the NFL, needing that scratch late in the season?

00:04:49And then all of a sudden saying, nah, nah, I'm not feeling this.

00:04:53I think he's only 32 years of age.

00:04:54So it's not like, you know, he's 36, 37, 38.

00:04:58He's still got some juice left in the wheels there.

00:05:00So really don't understand this one for the Dolphins.

00:05:03I think they would take it.

00:05:06And yeah, for the Raiders, Aiden O'Connell, the quarterback, going against the reigning champs, the two-time champs,

00:06:44Everything certainly plays into that, but we do got to get there.

00:06:52To get you ready for these three games, which starts in Detroit and Dubsy.

00:06:56By the way, being a longtime football guy growing up, you know, whether or not you

00:07:00had Thanksgiving at your house or a family member's house, you're on the road.

00:07:04It typically meant you would be in the car for the Detroit Lions game.

00:07:08But nobody cared because the lines were horrendous.

00:07:10That game was terrible.

00:07:11Where by the time you got to your destination, you were starting to eat.

00:07:14And then the Dallas Cowboys would probably be playing a good football game.

00:07:17And that really started your Thanksgiving day.

00:07:19And back in the day, Dubsy, there was no night game on Thanksgiving, which we do

00:07:23have. But this year, it sort of turns around.

00:07:26Maybe the best team in football is the Detroit Lions, and they start the day off

00:07:29against the Chicago Bears, favored by 10 and a half points and a total of 48 and a

00:07:36half. My times change where the best team on Thanksgiving Day is now the Lions, and

00:07:41they kick off Thanksgiving Day.

00:07:43And for the Lions to be booked as 10 and a half point favorites, I think that's the

00:07:47biggest margin they'd ever have to cover going back to 1968, going against your

00:07:52Eagles, Donnie.

00:07:52So with that, there's a lot of expectation for Jared Goff and Dan Campbell have not

00:07:57been great on Thanksgiving Day.

00:07:58Oh, and three straight up from the last three.

00:08:01So they're going to have to turn favors around here and spoil.

00:08:04And I think they've got a really good chance of doing so.

00:08:06It feels like maybe, you know, the Bears are playing better football.

00:08:10They could stick around and keep it close enough.

00:08:12They're getting plenty of points.

00:08:13But the Detroit Lions at home in their building, fast track.

00:08:17I think they're one of the best teams in football.

00:08:20It's a holiday Thanksgiving Thursday.

00:08:22They're a little closer to friends and family.

00:08:25I think this one has all the makings with both quarterbacks playing better

00:08:28football.

00:08:28I mean, not to say Jared Goff hasn't had a fantastic season, but King Caleb is

00:08:33suddenly looking better and better.

00:08:34Plenty of points up and back, up and back.

00:08:36I think it's going to be an absolute track meet.

00:08:38I think the Bears could surprise a few people and stick around close enough to

00:08:42win this one straight up.

00:08:43Absolutely not.

00:08:45Yeah, not a huge travel scenario for obviously the Chicago Bears going to

00:08:49Detroit, but it's still going to be a travel day.

00:08:51You are getting on a plane.

00:08:52And also keep in mind, we talk about Dubsy, which I love to say, you play on

00:08:56a Sunday, right?

00:08:57Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

00:08:58You're barely practicing on that short work week Thursday, but it's a

00:09:01Thursday night football game, right?

00:09:03Now you take a look and you're playing the road team here.

00:09:05That's got to kick off at 1230 p.m.

00:09:08So now you don't need to get the extra eight hours to maybe settle in and

00:09:11watch film or just get your wits together.

00:09:13It'll be an interesting scenario as it plays out.

00:09:15If we're looking at the touchdown scoring market here, which I always find

00:09:18fascinating, you saw David Montgomery in the last game for the Lions get

00:09:21banged up and injured a bit, but he's not being priced like that in the

00:09:24touchdown market.

00:09:25Jameer Gibbs at a minus 180 price at FanDuel, David Montgomery at a minus

00:09:28170 price point here, and typically it feels like they both score each and

00:09:32every week.

00:09:33But this weekend, I'm actually, should I say Thursday, looking a little bit

00:09:36more to Jameer Gibbs.

00:09:37Both of these defenses are good, Dubsy.

00:09:39So you are looking for points tomorrow, is that correct?

00:09:42Yeah, looking for points, Tony, from both teams.

00:09:45And Jameer Gibbs, love that play for an anytime score.

00:09:48Coming off two last week, going against the Colts.

00:09:50I think he got north of 20 carries there, so plenty of chances.

00:09:54I thought it was Thunder and Lightning, this one-two punch for the Lions.

00:09:57It turns out it's Sonic and Knuckles.

00:10:00They can call each other whatever they want, Tony, but it's one of the best

00:10:02two tandems for the backfield that we see in the NFL.

00:10:06And with plenty of points, you can expect both running backs to get plenty

00:10:09of looks.

00:10:09And Jameer Gibbs, another strong chance of running one into the house.

00:10:14How do we feel about the Chicago Bears, too?

00:10:15Because they are getting double digits in this game.

00:10:17It is a division rivalry.

00:10:18It's a short week here.

00:10:19Sometimes you do get a little bit of sloppy football, but you saw that

00:10:22devastating loss five games ago to the Commanders.

00:10:25Spilled over on that game against the Cardinals, where they didn't even show

00:10:28up on the road.

00:10:29Then you figured the Chicago Bears get a layup against the New England Patriots.

00:10:33They lost that football game 19-3.

00:10:35You had the Packers dead to rights.

00:10:37You get a field goal blocked and lose that one.

00:10:39Then you had the Vikings in a close game where he came all the way back, and you

00:10:42still lost that game 30-27.

00:10:45Sometimes the dam just breaks through.

00:10:46We'll see if that is the case here against the Detroit Lions.

00:10:49But the focal point here, again, is the Detroit Lions.

00:10:52For me, the best team in the NFL.

00:10:54For me, the best team in the NFC, which includes my Philadelphia Eagles.

00:10:58The number one seed to get it.

00:11:00Minus 260 price here, which they're in the lead to do right now, which is why

00:11:03they're favored.

00:11:04The NFC North, which is an incredible division, and teams only a game back,

00:11:08Dubzy.

00:11:08They're still a minus 600 to win the NFC North.

00:11:11To win the NFC title, it's already down to plus 145.

00:11:15And then the Super Bowl, look at that.

00:11:18Only a three-to-one price.

00:11:20Are we pricing Detroit appropriately here, Dubzy?

00:11:23And in your mind, are they the best team in the NFL?

00:11:26Yeah, I think that number tells us they are one of the best teams in football.

00:11:30I think we've lost value.

00:11:31If you're big on the Lions, that number's getting a little short for me, even

00:11:35considering how good they have been playing.

00:11:37NFC North, you know, they're one game up here of the Vikings, but they're going

00:11:41to close that out.

00:11:42Minus 600.

00:11:43I mean, I'm not paying that kind of juice for, you know, I guess with the

00:11:47probability that there's still a chance that the Vikings could make a bit of a

00:11:50tilt.

00:11:50But NFC title, I certainly think they're the best team in football.

00:11:53I think they're the best team in the NFC, not by a big margin.

00:11:57I feel like the Eagles and the Lions certainly make a lot of sense as the top

00:12:01two.

00:12:02And then I think there's a bit of a drop-off to next in line there.

00:12:05So I'd be taking them to win the NFC.

00:12:07I think they would have learned a lot from last season when they lost, you know,

00:12:11Big Hutch earlier this year.

00:12:12I thought they were going to lose a bit of pressure on the defensive side, but

00:12:16certainly hasn't lost a beat.

00:12:18So they're playing some really good, really strong, complimentary football.

00:12:22Dan Campbell, what a job he has done with this franchise, with this organization

00:12:27the last few years.

00:12:27So the Lions, another good spot for them.

00:12:30They're just going to be cautious in this one.

00:12:32You know, for the Bears, you highlighted, Donnie, a lot of close calls.

00:12:35They've struggled going on the road, but I think they could actually take a bit of

00:12:38confidence away from the last two weeks.

00:12:40And what have they got to lose?

00:12:42You know, it's not the playoffs they're playing.

00:12:44They're trying to figure things out, and I think they'll get after it.

00:12:48Yeah, and you know what?

00:12:49The way this plays out in the NFC, because you figure right now, it's between the

00:12:52Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions, who's going to get that number one seed.

00:12:55Both teams have some tough games, but I do think the tougher schedule is actually

00:12:59with Detroit.

00:12:59But I do think Detroit is slightly better than the Philadelphia Eagles.

00:13:02They'll play the Bears at home, double-digit favorites.

00:13:04They should win.

00:13:05They then get the Packers at home the following week, which is a monster game

00:13:08in the NFC North.

00:13:09You know, they get after that, but it is still a home game, and that's the Buffalo

00:13:13Bills, which will be a tough one.

00:13:14Then they go on the road two of the last three games at the Bears, which again,

00:13:17outdoor division rival.

00:13:19Then they go at the 49ers, which we might think might be dead and buried at that

00:13:22point.

00:13:22But when you look at the NFC West Dubsy, they might be playing that all the way

00:13:26through with a much-needed game for the 49ers.

00:13:27That'll be a road one.

00:13:28Then they finish up at home against the Minnesota Vikings.

00:13:32Conversely, if you're looking at the Eagles, they have a 10-bell test this weekend

00:13:35at the Baltimore Ravens.

00:13:37But then they get the Panthers at home, the Steelers at home, at the Commanders,

00:13:41Cowboys, and Giants at home to end the season.

00:13:43This is going to be one that goes all the way down.

00:13:45As we sit right now, and I continue to say, I think the Lions are the best team,

00:13:48and I think they're going to have that number one seed.

00:13:50Do you think, though, it just goes through the winning team city who hosts that NFC

00:13:55championship game?

00:13:56Because if the Eagles are at home, massive advantage against Detroit.

00:13:59If Detroit is at home, massive advantage for them against the Eagles.

00:14:03Yeah, I think the bigger advantage would certainly be playing in Philly there.

00:14:07The Eagles could wrangle top spot, but I think the Lions best team in football,

00:14:12I think they could hold on to that record.

00:14:13But didn't realize how easy that schedule was for the Eagles coming into the house

00:14:17there, Donnie.

00:14:18I mean, you've got to like your chances of rattling off, what, four wins?

00:14:22Five wins?

00:14:23A really good shot.

00:14:24If they can get through the Ravens this week, things get a lot easier.

00:14:28If, and that's a big if, if the Eagles can go in and beat the Baltimore Ravens,

00:14:32I actually think they might get that number one seed.

00:14:33What a crazy season so far.

00:14:35Thanksgiving Day feast continues.

00:14:37New York and Dallas will preview that game next.

00:14:40Game number two, Thanksgiving Day, the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.

00:14:45By the way, Dubs, let me ask you a question here.

00:14:46You know, Thanksgiving sometimes is different in many households in when they eat.

00:14:51Coming from an Italian background, we usually eat a lot earlier.

00:14:55And granted, I like to eat earlier as well.

00:14:57I should be home around two o'clock.

00:14:59That table better be set, turkey ready to go, and let's feast.

00:15:02But I know a lot of families, Dubs, eat later in the day,

00:15:05like maybe around halftime of that Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants game.

00:15:09Eating Thanksgiving, like what's your, do you have a preference on this?

00:15:12Or what do you prefer?

00:15:13The earlier, the better for me.

00:15:14I love it.

00:15:15Earlier, the better for me, Donnie.

00:15:17And the best part about Thanksgiving is the leftovers.

00:15:20Whether it be, you know, later on a Thursday evening, roll it into Friday,

00:15:24maybe Saturday, let's stretch it out to Sunday, Monday.

00:15:27Stuffing doesn't go bad.

00:15:28So it's the early slate for me, Donnie.

00:15:31Get a nice, you know, set of companies, get the old sweatsuit out.

00:15:34And I'll tell you what, your boy's got to behave himself.

00:15:36I, yeah, I saw there were a couple of Black Friday sales down there

00:15:40at the local sports store yesterday afternoon.

00:15:42Tried on a couple of 32s.

00:15:43I'm like, oh, maybe this is just a small make.

00:15:46Went and got another set of 32s.

00:15:48Turns out your boy's 34, maybe a 36 right now, Donnie.

00:15:51So we can get through Thanksgiving with minimal damage.

00:15:54But early slate for me and just be nibbling on winning tickets

00:15:59and on stuffing all afternoon.

00:16:01See, I hear the numbers there, Dubs.

00:16:02I thought you were going maybe a new wedge, like 58, 60,

00:16:05you know, real nice loft there, trying on those type of things.

00:16:10That's the type of sales that we like here,

00:16:11trying to get your golf game better out of the sand trap here.

00:16:14But if you are looking Giants and Cowboys,

00:16:16not the most explosive matchup.

00:16:17And frankly, it's a terrible matchup between two bad football teams.

00:16:21But the intrigue is always there.

00:16:23I was really surprised, Dubs.

00:16:24Last week, the Dallas Cowboys went on the road

00:16:26and knocked off the Washington Commanders

00:16:28and Cooper Rush led them to a victory.

00:16:29Now, granted, there are a lot of crazy plays in that game,

00:16:31which included a lot of great special teams flair for the Cowboys.

00:16:34But it went nonetheless when they were double-digit dogs.

00:16:37The Giants just didn't show up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

00:16:40So now the Giants going on the road,

00:16:42that's a close number, plus three and a half.

00:16:44We don't know who the quarterback is.

00:16:45Let me start here, though.

00:16:47If you find out that Tommy Cutlets is in the game

00:16:50or if it's going to be Drew Locke,

00:16:53do you have a preference on which side you'd rather bet or fade,

00:16:56depending on which quarterback is in for the Giants?

00:16:59Yeah, I like the Cowboys and I'd love Tommy Cutlets to be there

00:17:03because we know exactly what we're betting on

00:17:05and we saw it last week.

00:17:06And I guess you can expect maybe even, you know,

00:17:09a slightly more banked-up version if he is to go there at game time.

00:17:12So I like the Cowboys in this spot.

00:17:14You know, Cooper Rush is by no means a fantastic quarterback,

00:17:18but the odds makers continue to set his numbers low.

00:17:21Attempts, completions, he's passing yards.

00:17:24I believe it's at 207 and a half for this one.

00:17:26Fly it north. My guy's got a serious arm on it.

00:17:29He can get it downfield.

00:17:30They've got no run game whatsoever to speak of there.

00:17:33So I love the Cowboys in this spot.

00:17:35I know traditionally you look at the ATS numbers

00:17:37for Thanksgiving Day, only 2 and 11

00:17:41and covering the spread here on Turkey Day.

00:17:43So it hasn't been happy sledding,

00:17:44but I really think this is a good spot for the Giants.

00:17:47I just don't know where they go from here, Donnie.

00:17:49You know, it wasn't even a step forward in the right direction.

00:17:53Malik Neighbors, he's blowing up,

00:17:54saying we really didn't lose anything

00:17:57from getting rid of Danny Jones

00:17:58or gaining anything on that side as well.

00:18:00So I would rather have Tommy DeVito in the mix for the Giants.

00:18:04And I love Cooper Rush for a big afternoon here for the Cowboys.

00:18:08Couple different ways you can play this game

00:18:10because I always like when the superstar player on the team,

00:18:13which is now Malik Neighbors, is furious

00:18:15and he's telling the coaching staff,

00:18:17you're going to start throwing me the football down 30 to nothing.

00:18:20That doesn't make a lot of sense.

00:18:21So I look early and often to Malik Neighbors,

00:18:23but also I do think there's ways to approach this game.

00:18:25I'm not happy with the quarterback situation on both sides.

00:18:28And quite frankly, there is no playoff race

00:18:30for either one of these teams,

00:18:32but I still do think they're capable on the ground.

00:18:34They don't have great running games either side.

00:18:36But if we're looking for a sloppier game on a Thursday,

00:18:39Rico Doudle, anytime touchdown market here,

00:24:00and the Green Bay Packers favored by three and a half.

00:24:03When you see those numbers, Dubsy, what sticks out?

00:24:06Yeah, it's the temperature, Donnie.

00:24:08Out of all those metrics, at number 27 at Lambeau,

00:24:13you've got two fish out of water.

00:24:15This has been, I guess, the biggest knock to the Dolphins

00:24:19in trying to make a run through the playoffs

00:24:21into the postseason.

00:24:22He struggles in inclement weather,

00:24:24and it's certainly going to be a cold and chilly one

00:24:27over there at Lambeau,

00:24:27and the Packers are playing better and better.

00:24:29They're playing some really good football.

00:24:31They've won four of the last five.

00:24:33So, look, the Miami Dolphins, it's a must win for them,

00:24:36but I just don't think it's the same Dolphins

00:24:38that we're expecting to see.

00:24:39It's not going back 12 months ago with that one-two punch.

00:24:42I know Waddle looked fantastic last week.

00:24:44He went for a monster.

00:24:53but I think there's levels to this thing.

00:24:54I think the Green Bay Packers are going to be very comfortable

00:25:02and the Dolphins playing in conditions like this.

00:25:04It's really tough for me to bet.

00:25:06The toughest thing about this is that number

00:25:09I mean, I feel like it's a fishy number.

00:25:12I'd rather take the Packers straight up on the money line

00:25:15and maybe throw it into a little two-legger

00:25:17to build a bit of value behind a little parlay.

00:25:20Yeah, last time we saw the Miami Dolphins

00:25:21in frigid, cold temperatures here was in Kansas City.

00:25:24They didn't perform all that well.

00:25:26Now, granted, they were extremely injured

00:25:27in that game against the Chiefs,

00:25:28but nonetheless, weren't there.

00:25:30If we take a look at Josh Jacobs in this game,

00:25:32he's the key player and the key component for me

00:25:34for the Green Bay Packers.

00:25:35You want his rushing props here at the Fandula Sportsbook,

00:25:3871 and a half, very manageable.

00:25:39Anytime touchdown market, a little bit expensive

00:25:42at a minus 165 price.

00:25:44So looking at the freezing cold conditions here,

00:25:46how do we feel about like a Devon Achan and Josh Jacobs,

00:25:50What are we feeling?

00:25:52I think the ground game is going to be key.

00:25:53I think the Packers get off to a fast start,

00:25:55and there's a couple of different ways

00:25:56that you can play Josh Jacobs

00:25:58and you can also play the Thursday football

00:26:00with a few of the specials.

00:26:01We're going to get into a little later in the show,

00:26:03but I think Josh Jacobs has a good chance

00:26:06of being the lead rusher for Thursday

00:26:08through the three games.

00:26:09I think he is in line for a monster performance

00:26:12in what a year, what a season he's putting together,

00:26:15you know, found a new life over there at Lambeau

00:26:17and playing for the Packers.

00:26:18So I think the Green Bay with a fast start,

00:26:21they will try and control the tempo in this one.

00:26:23So it's really tough looking at the total,

00:26:26but Josh Jacobs, he's been nothing but class

00:26:28and expect him to be that bell cow again there

00:26:31for Thursday night.

00:26:33Fantastic.

00:26:33And again, that breed this year of free agent running backs

00:26:37going to big time teams here,

00:26:38like Jacobs goes to the Packers,

00:26:40Barkley goes to the Eagles,

00:26:48yes, it's going to be cold weather.

00:27:34I do want to start here with the Miami Dolphins

00:27:35because I think it's intriguing.

00:27:37They now sit at five and six.

00:27:38Coming into the season,

00:27:39we were only arguing, are they a playoff contender?

00:27:41No doubt they would be,

00:27:42but injuries do sometimes come in and derail seasons.

00:27:45We've seen it time and time again.

00:27:46Tua Tagovailoa getting injured.

00:27:48Now he's back playing good football.

00:27:49We're waiting on Tyree Kill to see

00:27:51if he's going to continue the season.

00:27:52They sit at five and six right now, Dubbs.

00:27:54Playoffs to make it a plus 240 price,

00:27:57which is manageable.

00:27:58And a Super Bowl, the expectations at 70 to one,

00:28:00probably not so manageable.

00:28:02If the season ended today,

00:28:03before the games even started this week,

00:28:05the Miami Dolphins sit in the eighth seed in the AFC,

00:28:08which would be one game out,

00:28:09should I say one team out,

00:28:11of making the playoffs to the Denver Broncos.

00:28:13The teams ahead of them,

00:28:14the Chargers seven and four,

00:28:16the Broncos seven and five.

00:28:17And as I said, the Dolphins five and six,

00:28:19and still teams behind them,

00:28:20the Colts and the Bengals,

00:28:21with realistic options to maybe make the playoffs.

00:28:24How do we feel about the Dolphins, Dubbsy,

00:28:26making the playoffs?

00:28:27Too far of a bridge to cross here,

00:28:29or it looks like they might be able to get it done?

00:28:32No, I think it's too much of a gap,

00:28:34too much of a margin to make up there.

00:28:36Two games, you got three teams sitting on seven wins.

00:28:39We'd have to see a little further regression

00:28:41from the Texans, Chargers, and the Broncos,

00:28:44who got a pretty good run

00:28:46over the next couple of weeks there as well.

00:28:48And looking at this schedule,

00:28:49I think it starts this week, Donnie.

00:28:51You know, they would certainly help their chances

00:28:53if they could get it done

00:28:54going against the Packers at Lambeau.

00:28:56But if they were to drop this one,

00:28:57and suddenly they're, you know, three games back,

00:29:00you look at their schedule

00:29:01and what would be held in their destiny.

00:29:03They get the Texans in their building over in Houston,

00:29:06but then it closed out.

00:29:07I mean, they've got the Jets twice.

00:29:09You really don't know what you're going to get

00:29:10with the Jets at this point of the season.

00:29:13Is Aaron Rodgers actually going to close this thing out?

00:29:15Could they, you know,

00:29:16come up with a couple of big performances?

00:29:17So there's question marks against the Jets there twice.

00:29:20And then you've got the Browns and the 49ers,

00:29:22you know, a couple of teams who haven't been fantastic,

00:29:25but could certainly show up

00:29:26and cause a bit of chaos when they are on.

00:29:28So, no, to answer the question, Donnie,

00:29:30I do not think the Dolphins

00:29:32are going to be playing playoff football.

00:29:33They're currently two games back,

00:29:35and I just don't see a way

00:29:36in which they can catch up that margin

00:29:38and make a way into the wildcard spot.

00:29:41Like, there is a lot of football to be played.

00:29:42There will be a lot of upsets,

00:29:43but it feels like if, if the Miami Dolphins

00:29:46would go on the road and beat the Ream Bay Packers,

00:29:47boy, they have a legitimate chance of getting in

00:29:49because the expectations and the odds built in

00:29:51are they're supposed to lose tomorrow,

00:29:53which would put them another game

00:29:54back to the teams in front of them.

00:29:56Let's flip the script here and take a look

00:29:57at what the Green Bay Packers are going through,

00:29:59because quite frankly,

00:30:00having a very good season themselves

00:30:02at eight and three and not getting a lot of love,

00:30:04neither do the team that's sitting ahead of them,

00:30:06the Minnesota Vikings, who are nine and two.

00:30:08It's like, wow, look at this division,

00:30:09because why did the Detroit Lions sit

00:30:11in first place at 10 and one?

00:30:12But we look at the outlet here for the Green Bay Packers,

00:30:15the playoffs, minus 1,800.

00:30:17I do believe they make it in their quality football team.

00:30:19They have the wins,

00:30:20even though they play in a tough division here.

00:30:22Super Bowl price point, 17 to one,

00:30:24but their remaining schedule,

00:30:25which starts as them being favored tomorrow,

00:30:28taking on the Miami Dolphins.

00:30:29Then you flip it over at the Lions, tough game.

00:30:32At the Seahawks, tough game.

00:30:34The Saints fired their head coach playing better football,

00:30:36but they do have them at home.

00:30:37At the Vikings, tough game.

00:30:38Then the Bears to end the season,

00:30:40which will be a division rivalry here.

00:30:42So the thought process for me is I don't think

00:30:44the Packers will factor into the NFC North race,

00:30:47which I do think Detroit is going to end up winning that.

00:30:49But the Packers are so interesting to me,

00:30:51Doves, as getting a wild card spot,

00:30:54nobody's going to want to play the Packers

00:30:55as a wild card team in the playoffs.

00:30:57You would not want to go near them.

00:30:59And I feel like they're sneaking under the radar, Donnie,

00:31:01that they're a little chilly on the old betting board

00:31:04because, you know, they started the season dealing

00:31:06with injuries to star quarterback Jordan Love,

00:31:09but suddenly they've been playing

00:31:10some really good football.

00:31:11After the first four weeks,

00:31:13well, the only game they've lost was to the Detroit Lions.

00:31:15So it sounds like we both consider to be one of the best,

00:31:18if not the best team in football.

00:31:20So I don't think they can take, you know,

00:31:22top of the division for the NFC North,

00:31:24but I certainly think they can pick up two,

00:31:27maybe three wins to close out the regular season.

00:31:30And that's going to be enough to punch their ticket

00:31:32into the playoffs.

00:31:33And yes, certainly would not want to go against

00:31:35this Green Bay Packers team when they're on.

00:31:38I mean, Josh Jacobs, career best season, Jordan Love.

00:31:42I mean, he's one of the best quarterbacks when he's cooking

00:31:44and some of these wide receivers, you know,

00:31:46have looked strong there as well,

00:31:48notably in Christian Watson, still plenty of upside.

00:31:51So the Packers is not a team

00:31:53that you would want to square off against

00:31:55going through the playoffs.

00:31:55And I think they'll find a way to make it in there.

00:31:59Yeah, really, really good division.

00:32:01My goodness, that NFC North, incredible.

00:32:03The Chicago Parasects are on a bad football team.

00:32:05You just have the bad fortune of playing in that division.

00:32:08But let's move ahead here to Black Friday action,

00:32:11which again, the Las Vegas Raiders are going to travel

00:32:14to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

00:32:15You look at that price point, Dubsy, 12 and a half,

00:32:18a total of 42 and a half.

00:32:20My first indicator is always like,

00:32:22what, who's laying the points with the Kansas City Chiefs

00:32:25at minus 12 and a half?

00:32:27So I ask you that question, Dubsy.

00:32:28Are you laying the points

00:32:30with the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday?

00:32:33Absolutely not, Donnie.

00:32:35I mean, this is not a field goal

00:32:37or a touchdown we're talking about.

00:32:39This is a significant margin.

00:32:40And one thing we've seen all season long is,

00:32:42you know, the reigning champs,

00:32:43they find a way to win these games,

00:32:45but they also find a way to struggle

00:32:47and allow some much weaker oppositions

00:32:50to hang around close.

00:32:51Now it's the Raiders with no Gartner Minshew.

00:32:54We've got Aidan O'Connell,

00:32:55but I just think that this will be a low scorer.

00:32:58I don't expect to see plenty of points

00:33:00and at 12 and a half, cannot touch it.

00:33:02I think the Raiders could be, you know,

00:33:05set for a bit of a surprise on Friday afternoon.

00:33:07I think they're going to give the Kansas City Chiefs

00:33:09a bit of a test.

00:33:10Not to say that they're capable

00:33:12of winning this thing straight up,

00:33:13but Kansas City Chiefs,

00:33:15maybe look for them in the first half

00:33:17to cover that line.

00:33:18And then they'll just cruise,

00:33:19try and lean on that running game

00:33:20and chew the clock and just be done with it

00:33:22on Black Friday

00:33:23so they can get the shopping carts out

00:33:25and meet your boy at Dick's,

00:33:26chasing some of those discounts.

00:33:27So it's a big margin, lofty number for a side

00:33:30that, I'll tell you what, Donnie,

00:33:31they cannot blow a poorer team,

00:33:33a lesser team off the field.

00:33:34They just can't.

00:33:36I'm telling you, look, last week,

00:33:38yeah, you got that nice early in the first half,

00:33:39but the Chiefs do what they always do,

00:37:20it with a victory over the Chargers.

00:37:23So now the Steelers who can't afford to lose another game

00:37:25and lose their grip on the AFC North,

00:37:28they take on the Bengals.

00:37:29Awful bye week with a loss by the Bengals will end their

00:37:32season.

00:37:33It doesn't surprise me.

00:38:20it has been atrocious for you.

00:38:22Look at the last couple of weeks and they've gone against

00:38:24some really good football teams.

00:38:25The Ravens,

00:38:26the Chargers,

00:38:27they're putting up plenty of points.

00:38:28Joey B's had,

00:38:29I believe,

00:38:3012 touchdowns,

00:38:3112 passing touchdowns in the last three weeks.

00:38:33So he is really doing everything he can to get the

00:38:36Bengals moving in the right direction to keep their playoff

00:38:39hopes alive.

00:38:40And I think there's levels to this thing.

00:38:42You know,

00:38:42I know the weather is obviously going to be a tough

00:38:45assignment for both teams and they're both well suited.

00:38:47They've had a lot of practice playing under these conditions,

00:38:50but I'm just a little cautious that the Steelers are going

00:38:53to struggle to go north of,

00:38:55you know,

00:38:5517 points.

00:38:56I really don't think they've got three touchdowns in them.

00:38:58If you look at the Bengals,

00:39:00you know,

00:39:00Tomlin's going to send everything at him,

00:39:02including the kitchen sink.

00:39:03But I just think the Bengals in that offense is not going

00:39:06to be a,

00:39:07you know,

00:39:08enough to slow down.

00:39:09I think they could put up plenty of points and cover

00:39:11that number at two and a half to cover a field goal,

00:39:14So the odds makers are telling us that it's going to be,

00:39:20but where's it coming from for Pittsburgh?

00:45:54I certainly like the Bills to chalk up another win at home.

00:46:39We're still going to put up a fight.

00:46:40You're going to take on the Rams.

00:46:41We're in that division fighting for the same playoff spot and division lead

00:46:45that you are here.

00:46:46And then you're going to take on the Miami Dolphins in Miami.

00:46:48You have a legitimate chance to still make the playoffs at that point.

00:46:50And then you finish the season with the Lions, who definitely will be playing

00:46:54for that number one overall seed and the best team in football.

00:46:56And then you end the season on the road against the Cardinals,

00:46:59who again, are in your division and probably still fighting

00:47:01for that same playoff spot.

00:47:03If I gave you a free bet today on the Niners making or missing the playoffs,

00:47:08where would that bet go for you, Debsie?

00:47:11You know, NFC West is probably the most wide open division that we speak about

00:47:15on the weekly and it really hasn't got any clear of who's going to finish up

00:47:19on top.

00:47:20But I just don't think the 49ers have what it takes to make a bit of a run.

00:47:25It's one of the toughest schedules coming in to the house and you face it

00:47:29off a couple of divisional foes who are, you know, I've got a much better

00:47:33billing of health.

00:47:34So for the 49ers, it's a long season getting longer and I just don't think

00:47:38they're going to have it against the Bills.

00:47:40And I think some of the familiar foes within the division could be getting

00:47:43set to pick up a win.

00:47:44And I think with that, it's going to be a little too late, a little too early

00:47:48coming out of week 13.

00:47:50So NFC West, Donnie, it is still up for grabs.

00:47:53But I just don't see the 49ers as being the team to take it.

00:47:56I think the Cardinals will do their best.

00:47:58And again, the Rams.

00:48:02I know they've continued to disappoint the last couple of weeks, but that's

00:48:05the team with upside for me.

00:48:08You look at it, six straight wins for the Buffalo Bills and coming off a bye

00:48:11and at home against an injured 49ers team sets up to be a recipe for success

00:48:16for the Buffalo Bills and also moving forward for the Bills.

00:48:19After this game against the Niners, they have two tough road games at the Rams

00:48:22then at the Lions here before they get the Patriots, Jets, and Patriots to end

00:48:27the season.

00:48:28So if we're giving them a win, which again, things will play out on the field

00:48:31against San Francisco, I think it's if they just split the Rams and the Lions.

00:48:35Boy, they are looking good even for the possibility of that number one overall

00:48:38seed if the Chiefs can falter just a little bit down the stretch.

00:48:42So two teams looks like moving in the opposite directions right now, Dubsy,

00:48:46with the Buffalo Bills.

00:48:47But if we are, but Christian McCaffrey hasn't looked all that great coming back.

00:59:40He's not a good quarterback, but happy to see that his career

01:00:43it's even like to go through a competent practice or even have

01:00:45a legitimate chance to win football games, but it is interesting

01:00:48that Minnesota made this move.

01:00:50So in that perspective, I don't know how I like this.

01:00:52Because I don't know why Minnesota actually made the move.

01:00:55Is it because they get Daniel Jones in the building, but he's

01:00:59not going to be their future guy because JJ McCarthy was drafted

01:01:03last year and they like Sam Darnold.

01:01:06So it's an interesting move for me overall, Dubsy.

01:01:08Yeah, it really is.

01:01:09And I feel like, you know, Danny Dimes is Sam Darnold 2.0.

01:01:15Maybe, you know, the B version of Sam Darnold.

01:01:18Like what's he really bringing to the NFL?

01:01:21You know, he's processing, he's slow.

01:01:23He's got some arm strength.

01:01:24He's got some athleticism, but you wouldn't trust him in a big

01:01:28spot. Would you really trust him coming in for a new scheme

01:01:31here, making that push towards the playoffs over Nick Mullins

01:01:35who's currently sitting at that two spot on the death chart.

01:01:38And then once we hit the offseason, it's going to be all about

01:01:41JJ McCarthy coming back in and trying to vie for that top spot.

01:01:45He is going to be your guy.

01:01:46That's why you drafted him.

01:01:47And for Sammy Darnold, I mean, he started off, you know, this

01:01:51season like a house on fire, sort of tape it off, but he's

01:01:54still going to give them the best chance to win football games.

01:01:56There's no way in which you'd bring Daniel Jones across saying

01:02:00that this is a positive addition.

01:02:02He certainly got more upside than a Sam Darnold.

01:02:05So you bring him in to learn, get up to speed, to be in the

01:02:09building for what though?

01:02:10What's the longevity of this business decision?

01:02:14I don't really get it.

01:02:15I thought Danny Dimes was, to your point Donny, going somewhere

01:02:19where he's either going to be contendent for a ring or he's

01:02:22certainly going to be that clear, you know, second choice.

01:02:25And if we do get an injury, it opens up a wide scene for him to

01:02:29come back as a starting quarterback in the league.

01:02:31But it is what it is.

01:02:33The Vikings add a bit more depth and Danny Dimes gets a sign of

01:02:37life.

01:02:38Yeah, it is.

01:02:39It's a good move for him because he could have just taken his

01:02:41ball and gone home.

01:02:42The pay is going to be the same, like he just sat around and had

01:02:44a good Thanksgiving and those holidays and tried to pick a team

01:02:47in the offseason.

01:02:48But you want to stay in the NFL, right?

01:02:49You want to keep the, you know, the tack sharp here, get out

01:02:52there, make sure you're in those meeting rooms and also learning

01:02:54from a legitimate franchise.

01:04:52I was sort of impressed with Chicago's offense in the second

01:04:55half against Minnesota.

01:04:56We saw Caleb throw for 330 yards, two touchdowns.

01:05:00They get the onside kick, can't win it in terms of overtime.

01:05:03But from an offensive perspective, we saw maybe Caleb

01:05:07Williams turned the corner just a little bit when new

01:05:09offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.

01:05:11I'm not suggesting that they win this game, Donnie tomorrow,

01:05:15but ten and a half in a divisional game.

01:05:18I mean, that's just way too many points.

01:05:20I know Chicago's dead and buried in terms of the wildcard

01:06:09Maybe taking combined total for Jamir Gibbs a 110 125.

01:06:15I don't think is out of the realm of possibility, especially

01:06:17when we saw Aaron Jones have some success in the first

01:06:21half against that Chicago defense last week.

01:06:23So I think that's the way to go.

01:06:25And then again, you know, Jamison Williams and the secondary

01:06:28wide receivers should should be able to eat on that on

01:06:32that defense.

01:10:08maybe 90 to 100 yards receiving in this matchup.

01:10:11I just feel like he's due and I think you're going to get

01:10:14cheap values. Number over the weekend was only 60 and a

01:10:18half to get a hundred plus pad this past Sunday.

01:10:21He was like in the area of almost two to one Donnie.

01:10:23So I think the numbers will be right for a breakout performance

01:10:27for Tyreek Hill.

01:10:28It does seem odd though that the Dolphins are only getting

01:10:31three and a half on the road.

01:10:32We know it's going to be cold.

01:10:34I'm inclined to maybe take three and a half with Miami, but

01:10:37I really like the over 47 and a half.

01:10:41If you're looking for Tua Targarlo, who's healthy now

01:10:43and playing good football, look at his pass catchers here.

01:10:46Tyreek Hill, anytime touchdown plus 150, Jalen Waddle, anytime

01:10:50touchdown plus 230, John Smith has been one of his favorite

01:10:53targets now with Tyreek Hill being a little bit banged up

01:10:56plus 250 to get into the end zone.

01:10:59So if you are looking for a game that you figure could have

01:11:01some juice, those guys certainly might be able to provide

01:11:04that. Now, Joe, we're having a little bit of fun earlier

01:11:06on the show with some of these Thanksgiving Day specials

01:11:09tapping into these markets, all six teams to score a touchdown
