00:18No matter where you go, Tinolang Manok is a dish that you can't ignore.
00:23Because it's not just a dish.
00:26It's the kind of Filipino comfort food
00:28that embraces the love of the whole family.
00:31They say, food is love.
00:33And Tinola, it's the epitome of that love.
00:37So, to teach us how to cook this,
00:40we'll be joined by Chef Ryan Abanilla here in Sarapinoy.
00:49First, let's eat the oil so we can saute it.
00:52Next, the ginger.
00:56We'll just saute it so the ginger juice will come out
01:01and our Tinola will be more delicious.
01:04And then, garlic.
01:09We'll just wait for it to turn golden brown.
01:12We'll just mix it.
01:14We can now add the onions.
01:18We'll add the chicken.
01:23We'll just saute it.
01:28And we'll add the papaya at the same time
01:32for our Tinola.
01:34We'll add the secret ingredients
01:36to make the ingredients taste better.
01:43We'll mix it.
01:47We'll mix it.
01:50After the ingredients are well-sautéed,
01:53we'll add water.
01:55We'll just wait for it to boil for about 15 minutes.
01:59It depends on how you cook the Tinola.
02:01You can use sayote or papaya.
02:03We can also add chili leaves
02:07to make it smell better and taste better.
02:10Our Tinola chicken is now cooked.
02:13We can now transfer it to a bowl.
02:37So next time you're feeling under the weather
