00:00We'll start with a delicious level-up bangus recipe
00:04that we'll bring to you from Sarap Pinoy.
00:06Let's watch it.
00:09Bangus is a type of fish in the Philippines
00:12that is important to the Filipino culture and cooking
00:15because of its deliciousness and substance.
00:18One of the well-known ways of cooking this fish
00:21is the grilled boneless bangus.
00:23And to teach us how to cook it,
00:26we have Chef Faisal Aguilar here in Sarap Pinoy.
00:35First,
00:38let's put some salt and pepper on top.
00:45For flavor.
00:47To reduce the fishiness of the bangus,
00:50Chef Faisal added calamansi.
00:53Let's mix it.
00:56Let's grill it.
01:00We'll grill it for about 25 to 30 minutes.
01:08After Chef Faisal grilled the bangus,
01:10he added the calamansi soy sauce.
01:14While waiting for the bangus to be grilled,
01:16Chef Faisal cooked the toppings for our grilled boneless bangus.
01:21We'll saute it in a pan.
01:23First, Chef Faisal added margarine.
01:26Then, he added vegetables like tomatoes and onions.
01:29Chef Faisal also added oyster sauce,
01:32liquid seasonings,
01:33and mixed it again to bring out the flavor.
01:36After it's cooked, set it aside.
01:38Next, we'll remove the bangus from the griller
01:41and put it on a plate.
01:48Next, we'll add their delicious and flavorful secret sauce.
01:53And of course, for added flavors and colors,
01:55Chef Faisal added the toppings for the grilled bangus.
02:08And for garnish, he added spring onions on top
02:11and lettuce on the side.
02:15And to add life to our dish,
02:17Chef Faisal cooked what he calls tri-color.
02:21First, he added butter to a pan.
02:23Next, he added liquid seasonings
02:25and the carrots, baby potatoes, and green beans they prepared.
02:30After it's cooked and for added presentation,
02:32Chef Faisal added a small portion of tri-color
02:36on the side of our grilled bangus.
02:44This is our grilled bangus.
02:51And that's our smoky and flavorful grilled boneless bangus.
