00:00Two thousand families were affected by a huge fire that erupted in Isla Puting Bato, Tondo, Manila yesterday.
00:07BFP firetrucks in Metro Manila were on full force to extinguish the fire that lasted for eight hours.

00:20A raging fire engulfed more than 1,000 houses in Tondo, Manila around 8 a.m. yesterday.
00:28Isla Puting Bato was engulfed by a black smoke.
00:32Some houses were literally without a structure after the fire.
00:37The fire spread quickly because most of the houses were made of light materials.
00:43It was accompanied by wind, so the fire spread to five villages in Barangay 20.
00:48Helicopters from the Philippine Air Force arrived one after another
00:52to pour water on the burnt houses.
00:55Bureau of Fire Protection firetrucks in Metro Manila were also on full force
00:59to help extinguish the fire.
01:02Ambulances, rubber boats, and Philippine National Police were dispatched
01:06to respond to the evacuees.
01:09According to BFP, it was difficult for the trucks to enter because of the narrow streets.
