00:00Fresh and healthy agricultural products will be displayed at the Presidential Expo 2024

00:09where more than 100 farmer exhibitors from different parts of the country will be showcased at the center of the news.

00:22Fresh from the farm, this is what the Department of Agriculture or DA will bring to the PICC tent of Pasay City from tomorrow to Wednesday, November 28, 2024.

00:41We will also include the different DA agencies that are helping also in the KADIWA program like BIFAR, NFA, BPI.

00:53There are many other agencies that are also here at this Expo that will showcase their projects and programs that are aimed towards the improvement of our cooperative FCAs.

01:09And of course, our stakeholders.

01:11According to the DA, more than 100 farmer exhibitors from all over the Philippines will be showcased at the Expo.

01:19Its goal is to give the public cheap and fresh agricultural products.

01:25Its goal is also to increase the income of farmers and fishermen in the country.

01:31We will also include the various regions and regional offices.

01:36All 16 DA regional offices sent their DA KADIWA trucks.

01:42All of these are supported by the regions.

01:46They are also there.

01:47So it's going to showcase also the regional products that we have.

01:51Of course, we also have our FCA partners, our cooperative partners.

01:57We invited around 100 plus of them.

02:00More than half were confirmed.

02:02The cooking demos are also part of the activity.

02:05Through the KADIWA kitchen and direct market linkages and agribusiness investor forums.

02:13According to the DA, the KADIWA of the President is part of the efforts of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

02:20to make the country food-secure under the auspices of the new Philippines.

02:25The KADIWA stores made by our partners are their initiative.

02:31That's why the KADIWA of the President project expanded.

02:42They started here in Metro Manila and they are going to expand nationwide.

02:47Our target is 1,500 stores, KADIWA stores by 2028.

02:55This is the first KADIWA of the President Expo

02:58where they sell cheap rice, which they call Rice For All,
